Lawyer says he, Jackson secretly taped on plane

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Mark Geragos, singer Michael Jackson's lawyer, said Tuesday that a charter airline company secretly videotaped conversations between him and Jackson on board a plane and attempted to shop the tapes to media outlets.

It appears to me that M.J. may have problems with this "secret tape." While the company may have taped these conversations -- there is an issue of whether the conversations themselves were held in secret. If any other persons could hear them, then they are not confidential or secret. Also the D.A. may have requested the company to video all conversations on the plane as part of its investigation.

In short, there will most likely be a very lively hearing pretty soon with a judge viewing to these tapes in camera.

Wouldn't it be just if the FBI were taping Geragos for obstruction of justice going back years ?

A tabloid reported that Jacko went crazy on the flight, demanding diversion to South America, etc. If true, any tapes of his ride would make for interesting viewing.

Meanwhile, detectives with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department have searched the Beverly Hills office of a private detective hired by Jackson, as well as the home of Jackson's videographer, CNN has learned.

According to at least one site on the net, Anthony Pellicano's office is in Beverly Hills. Could it be his?

Malnik is the mob.

Malnik is in with some Sauids.

Micheal Jackson is in with the mob,Malnik and the Saudis.

So, I'm posing the question,is CARCORP related to Malnik?

If it is, then the taping was done by friendlies, not Jackos enemies.

The only part I cant find yet is who or what owns CARCORP.

Either way, I think the airline company can count on a drop-off in business.

Probably No-Longer-In-Business Airlines would be more appropriate. Nearly all people who are in a position to be chartering private jets are very sensitive about privacy, from ditzy celebrities to investment bankers and politicians. NONE of these people are going to have any interest in using a charter company which secretly taped and then tried to sell tapes of a client on board the aircraft, and explained its actions by saying "We explored the opportunity as any business person would."

Can you say "Red Herring"??? Does anyone else recall the breathless reports about the supposed videotape of a "red-faced, angry, out-of-control" Bill Clinton at his Grand Jury testimony? Remember that the media built this up to a big story for a couple of days, and then we got to see the tapes - showing a very much in-control, calm and reasonable Clinton.

Same thing is going to happen here.

The tape is just like the Paris Hilton tape, except the action is between Jackson and Garagos.

Interesting and possible. This scandal helps portray Jackson as a victim. But I think he didn't concoct it, just taking advantage of an opportunity handed to him on a silver platter.

I think the Clinton story was actually about his behavior at his deposition,, not the Grand Jury. My memory isn't as good as it used to be- what was I saying?
