And interestingly do not see any of the "Dean seems to be a reasonable candidate" or "I hate Bush because he is not a conservative" rants in this thread so far... I guess the Dean Internet machine just comes in when doubts are tried to sown in conservative minds...

That gives me an idea. Somebody can swipe it, I don't care.
How about that famous map of the Presidential election of 2000 by congressional district, showing blue and red districts, Bush vs. Gore.
If somebody could make it into a .gif file, and have morph gradually into all congressional districts for Bush/GOP in 2004, it would be hilarious.

So is Ben Laddin. After all, didn't he want the markets to crash with 911? Don't both OBL and Daschel share similar desires for power gained on the backs of everyday Americans? That saddens me. Why did any American elect someone like Dashele, Hillary, Gepharht, Bill, or Ted Kennedy. If they would get their heads out of People Magazine and stop getting their news from Entertainment tonight, these unpatriotic terrorist supporting weasels would be doomed.

2004 Will Be USA's Best Year Economically in Last 20 Years! What's the source, some yahoo?
They're bullhorning everything as hysterically positive right now. Even the usually liberal media. For example, on ABC Radio news this morning, the 0.9% rise in retail sales was described as "huge"! Now, in what numerical system is under one percent huge? Anyone who takes this stuff at face value is very, very naive (and is going to get hurt badly when the realities come out).
This is one of those cyclical things; right now greed rules the world and colors peoples' perceptions and sense of what is important. At some point in the future sentiment will swing from greed to fear and the cycle will begin anew.

"Thats a GREAT idea!" Man if you could do the morph thingy with the Map and then have little Tommy Daschle looking on and his face morphing from that happy grin of his to his patented deeply-saddened look of concern you would have a real winner!

This is from The Conference Board. They are a New York based, well respected, non-profit group that does a lot of economic forecasting, conferences, research and analysis, etc. They compile leading economic indicators for a number of nations, consumer confidence surveys and do a raft of other business-oriented work. Membership is made up of leading corporations world-wide. Web site is: www.conference-board.org

"This burgeoning strength is reflected in The Conference Board's widely-watched Leading Economic Indicators, the Consumer Confidence Index and the Help-Wanted Advertising Index. Oh, and the news gets worse, if you're a Democrat; IRAQI OIL IS COMING ONLINE!
When we have had these uptics in the last 40 years they have promptly been accompanied with inflation due to increased demand for and static supply of, petroleum. NO WAY THIS HAPPENS WITH THIS EXPANSION!

Sorry for the sloppy map. But I think you get the idea!
