Um, no. IIRC it was a Japanese official speaking about our bases in Okinawa after some Marines did some bad things to the locals. He wanted to kick us off Japanese soil and claim the land. He was quoted as saying (paraphrased due to the passage of time...), "All your bases are belong to us."

I used to think the same thing...until I began picking up that the talking points coming from some of the network anchors and the perkster are the same ones we read on DU.

They probably saw it on networks news. Not the other way around. But it really doesn't matter.

People should be careful if going onto DU. I've seen in several threads here that if you register at DU, their security isn't as good as our's (Thank you, JimRob!), and your e-mail address and other info can be obtained relatively easily. You may end up on the wrong end of a spam blitz from a bunch of left-wing traitorous scum.

You got it. A lot of my family are Solid South Democrats, when they go to DU and see their distorted views of reality they begin to take the first steps toward changing sides.

As I type, Rush is taking great pains to tie Dean to The Democrat Underground. I think it is an outstanding ploy.

Hmmmmmm sounds as if a Freeper has managed to get into the site and list all the great things that are happening and then putting a negative "spin" on them as being terrible cause it'll help Bush so he (Freeper) wouldn't be discovered. Not so sure this isn't one of those reverse psychological situations!
