Someone Loves you, more than you know...
A Dad, Chef, Freeper, A FRIEND ^ | Dec. 19, 2003 | Carlo3b, a FReeper lover.

Someone Loves you, more than you know...

Everyone, every single person on this earth has someone that loves them. Everyone!

This magical time of the year is when we turn our attentions and our thoughts to all of the special people in our lives that we love above all others. Most every faith, creed, and nationality has some special season that is set aside to ponder on our emotions, and the real meaning of life. For many, this is a Holy time, the Holiest time of the year. It is a time of faith, of reflections on our past, rejoicing in our good fortunes, and the expectations of our future. It bring us together for celebration, and for many it reminds us of those who we love from afar and brings back memories of those far beyond.

For most of us, these are the happiest time of the year, and we look forward to these days with excitement and joy. But for some of us, far too many, these are emotional times, stressful, and lonely times. While the world around us seemingly enthralled with the celebrations, it has a deepening sadness for others, and since the majority of us are thrilled at moment, I'd like us to think about those less fortunate.

I was fearful to bring this subject to the fore at this time of the year, as it is too often, for less than charitable reasons, we are punished for our good fortune and made to feel guilty for our happiness, no matter how hard fought to achieve it. However, it is the exact opposite that I want us, you and I, for just a moment, to focus on those who can't, or won't, or unfortunately, those truly unable to share in the glory of these holidays.

Love, is the secret, love is the answer, and being in love is summit of our lives. The deeper in love we are, the closer to the surface is our emotions. Love is the driving force that brings Kings to tears, and paupers to euphoria. We love, because we need love, and we are born wired to give and receive love. Which is why the absence of love is so devastating, and those who don't feel loved, are so very sad.

When we are painfully reminded of our emptiness, as in the season of love like the holidays, that we are without someone special to share love that we feel most lonely. Everyone needs love. Babies left untouched, and unloved after birth will invariable die, or left emotionally scared for life. We all need to be loved and we all, need to love someone or something to fulfill our existence. Loneliness is an unnecessary crime, and loveless emptiness is a death sentence.

But are we really unloved, or are we alone? Being alone isn't as bad as being unloved. Are we alone by choice, or have we been forgotten, or left behind? There are very few good reasons to truly be alone in this world. If you can read this, you are never alone. If you have access to a phone, a TV, a neighbor, or a friend, you are never really alone. However, if you are unloved, now that is a problem. Are you unloved? Or, sadly, are you unlovable? Have you become bitter and unapproachable perhaps because of loneliness? Only you know the answer, but I have an answer that you may not know. Someone Loves you, yes YOU, more than you know.

Everybody is loved by someone, yes even you. GOD loves you, and nothing that you can do, or have done changes that. Sometime GOD uses things to do his work for Him, He is GOD after all, and has those kind of perks. Sometime GOD uses my puppy Zeke, to bring love to someone that needs to feel loved. I know, don't ask me how, that GOD uses my puppy, and millions of his cousins in all different shapes and sizes, to bring true love to a lonely older person, or even worse, a shy withdrawn child.

Sometimes GOD, without your knowledge, even uses you, yes you, to bring love to someone devastated in loneliness. He may remind you, out of the clear blue sky to call someone left alone, sick, or maybe forgotten. Sometime GOD may even makes you smile at a stranger or remind you to hug a kid or worse your own spouse..YIKES!  And sometime, and again don't ask me how I know, GOD uses even me to do something I seem to always forget.. that is to tell you that..

.....I LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH, ...MORE THAN YOU KNOW.. kiss......  developing ... :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR
I LOVE YOU!

I'd love to say that I'm a coffee conniseur - but I'm not nearly discriminatory enough for that distinguished title. I am a coffee addict. I drink it all day long, but like most, that first cup in the morning is both the best and worst.

Occasionally my husband, inspired by a forgotten birthday or some other marital offense, brews a pot for me before I'm up. That's the best.

The worst is when I am left to my own devices. Those mornings I can be found crouched in front of the coffee pot cheering it on like a thoroughbred on Derby Day. Those were the worst days - until I discovered Folgers Crystals.

At first, I'd microwave a cup to drink while waiting for the real coffee. Then I found that my tap water got hot enough to fix a cup. Now, most mornings find me spooning instant coffee, then sugar into a cup while the coffeepot steams and spurts.

I've known many such Christians in my life. Some are "God Conniseurs", savoring Sundays with the lovely music and ceremony. Some are completely addicted. They wake each morning and dive into the Word - unable to wait for Sunday to "brew".

I like the addicts. Oh to be like them.

That's very good kimmie!

I'm like you, I hate waiting for that first cup of coffee in the morning so I get it ready the night before. I have one of those coffee makers with a timer. Before going to bed I pour in the water, measure out the amount of coffee, then set the timer so it starts about 10 minutes before I usually roll out of bed. Voila! a fresh pot of coffee greets me when I walk into the kitchen. If I get up prior to the set time, I just flip the switch to start the brewing process. By the time I finish in the bathroom and log on to FR, the coffee is ready. :)

Welcome aboard, I have added your name to our list, and have found your requested recipe. I haven't had this wonderful appetizer in years and thanks for reminding me about it's great taste. I think I remember this as more of an Hors d'oeuvre, or even a dip, served on crackers or toast.. Enjoy!

Taramasalata

This is a Greek favorite! Traditionally, carp, or cod's roe is great to use in this recipe.

Before you start, soak the carp roe in cold water for at least a couple of hours, then rinse and drain it thoroughly before peeling off the skin. Now put the roe in a mixing bowl and mash it first to a pulp using a fork then, with an electric beater, whisk it at top speed, gradually pouring in the lemon juice.

Now start adding the oils a drop at a time (still whisking as you would when making mayonnaise) and keep adding oil until the mixture becomes solid and dry – forming lumps and working its way up the sides of the bowl. At this stage you can start to beat in a little boiling water, say 2 fl oz (55 ml) or just enough to turn the mixture into a soft mousse. (Don't add the water before the mixture has become solid or it will separate.) Finally add the crushed garlic and parsley, and serve with croutons or warm pita bread and Greek olives.
Tip: You can make this a day ahead, covered and keep refrigerated.

Chocolate is good for you. The scientist say so! Isn't that wonderful? Now I can eat all the chocolate I want and never feel guilty any more!

IS CHOCOLATE A SIN?..
What Happens to Women when they eat it?  You Won't believe it!

Chocolate by far, is one of the best known of all the approved aphrodisiacs. With over 300 different chemicals including caffeine and phenylethylamine (PEA), a brain chemical that has a scientific biases that the refined bean indeed causes a physical arousal, the same feelings as when we are head over heals in love. Chocolate's effect has been compared to those of marijuana and amphetamines by some, an addiction.

Christopher Columbus first brought chocolate to Europe in 1502. Columbus discovered the beans were used to make a strong native beverage and also as a form of money among the Aztecs. However no one paid much attention to it because it was an acquired taste, with it's strong bitter flavor. It was not until 1519 and Cortes, with his conquest of Central America, and Mexico. To his surprise, the Aztec emperor believed Cortes to be the reincarnation of Quetzalcoatl, the Aztec God of air, light and life, and heaped riches upon the Spaniard in the form of cacao tree plantations, and he in turn scratched his head and brought it home to Spain.

One hundred beans could buy a slave and twelve a rabbit, 40 could buy a good woman. ( The catch was determining which one was good, and at what!). Cortes did make one major discovery in the evolution of the Love Bean.  Because there where no wines available, Cortes' men learned to drink their local beverage made from cacao or cocoa, called cocoatl.

In 1615, chocolat (sho-co-LAH) debuted at a fancy royal wedding in Bordeaux France, hence, it made its way to England. In 1662 a refined form of what we relish today, was introduced as chocolata. It wasn't until 1765, that chocolate was introduced to the US by an enterprising gentleman named, John Hanan. He, with the help of Dr. James Baker of Dorchester Massachusetts, refined the first of many millions of pounds of our favorite ...sin.

As men already know, it is women that find Chocolate almost irresistable...so why fight it, capitalize on their weakness....HA!

Somebody loves you more than you know;
Somebody goes with you wherever you go.
Somebody really and truly cares
and lovingly listens to all of your prayers.
Don't think for a minute that this is not true
For God loves His children and takes care of them too.
And all of His treasures are yours to share
if you love Him completely and show that you care .
And if you walk in His footsteps and have faith and believe there's nothing you ask for that you will not receive.
