It's hard to tell, but from where I'm sitting, that guy behind Santa doesn't look anything like John Ashcroft.

Not meaning to slam you, bro...but the first thought I had upon reading your post was "Grinch".
Okay, so it's taxpayer dollars helping to fund this. Big fat hairy deal. I'd rather have my tax dollars spent on THIS than supporting some welfare-weenie and his booze/drug habit.
This surely can't cost THAT much, can it? If you average it out, I'll just bet it's MUCH LESS than a dollar per US taxpayer. What'll that buy, a stick of gum? I hate government waste, but I am not worried about this. It's once a year, it's good PR for the military, and it's HARMLESS.
(Besides...NORAD is a joint Canadian-American operation. The Canucks are paying for it as well.)
Merry Christmas, sir, and may God bless you.

I remember Rivercity when there was no Tyler Mall.
I also hear tell that Edgemont is now called Moreno Valley?
To: notpoliticallycorewrecked
So do I, just barely. I remember when Riverside Plaza was an open-air mall.
Edgemont, Moreno and Sunnymead are now Moreno Valley, actually. We moved to Sunnymead in '78 and March AFB and the raceway were still about the biggest developments out there. Man, that place has changed.

Geez, I wish the "UFO" would show up here and bake my darn pies... After doing last minute shopping and wrapping, I'm exhausted, with many more "miles" to go... God Bless and Merry CHRISTmas!
