Hoping to Broaden his Appeal in the South, Dean admits"Im a Bigot"

Dateline Vermont...The Dean campaign admitted today that Howard Dean is not only a metrosexual but is also a bigot.

"I'm seeking the southern bigot vote." admitted Dean, "and people need to understand that I'm a bigot just like other southerners"

Capitalizing on bigotry may be a risky political move however, many experts are unsure just how this will play out in the general election.

"While Dean has been solicitous of Reverend Sharpton....the black vote is not an absolute certainty at this point," says Harvard professor, Shirley Froid, "Many blacks have announced they plan to vote for Bill Clinton in the next election."

"It shows a lack of education about the South on his part," says presidential candidate John Edwards, " We, in the South are not all bigots....some of us are black"

Coming on the heals that he plans to talk about Jesus, and eat chicken fried steaks, the announcement by Dean that he too is a bigot is seen as a "full Southern strategy" meant to solidify his base across the country.

I thought this was from the Onion or something , but I see you wrote this funny piece yourself. Yes, Dean just may say that! Afterall, he suddenly remembered he worshiped Jesus after campaigning in the Bible Belt.

I consider Howard Dean as a typical northeastern Liberal Elite who is completely unaware that his comments about the south would be considered an insult. I have met people like him and they believe they are superior. I believe the only reason why he apologized for his remarks is because his handlers told him to do so.

Howard Dean is so far out of touch from what makes this country tick it's pathetic. I will bet the rent that he will not win a single State in the South. In fact, If he is the Nominee, I doubt he will win a single State next November.

Howard Dean does not have what it takes to lead this country and his flip flopping on the issues will not fool the American people. We live in serious times that call for serious leadership. And this is something Howard Dean doesn't possess

I just had this thought after reading your post. Perhaps Dean is sticking his foot in his mouth intentionally. However, he still wins the dims nomination. then they discover that he will not win so Hillary jumps in to save the day. Can she run if even if she doesn't win or even run in the primary? Just a thought, a scary thought.

I'm convinced that Dean was recruited to run for the democrat nomination by none other than Karl Rove himself. There is no freaking way this happened all by itself and these insane remarks by dean are his. This script is being written by Karl. It just has to be planned and orchestrated by Karl. I'm sure the "bigot" remark will be one of his up and coming releases.

Primaries, sort of like presidential elections are essentially meaningless, it is the delegates at the convention who choose the nominee. They are pledged to a candidate, but if there is an overall sense of unity, most candidates will not force their delegates to vote for them at the convention because they will usually drop out officially. Also in DNC primaries, after 1972 I believe, they created so called "super delegates" that IIRC make up about 30% of all the delegates and they are congressman and senators and other officals from within the party and establishment. This was meant as a precaution against an embarrassing defeat of the McGovern type nature.

If no one person becomes the clear winner of the primaries, there is nothing stopping them from choosing Hillary.

I wish Hillary would jump in this race. She has no more chance of winning the nomination than anyone. her problem is that she has yet to answer for her crimes while she called 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. her home. That with has yet to face a serious interview, and if she runs for POTUS she will have too.

That pig might be liked by the same base of the democrat party that adores Howard Dean, But Hillary's problem is the vote she will attract to defeat her. I believe if she runs, the multitudes who rarely Vote will show up in record numbers to defeat her. No their politician in my lifetime is more divisive than Hillary Clinton and I hope her Carpet Bagging fat ass will be sent back to Arkansas and we will be shed of her once and for all

I don't think Dean would make it out alive campaigning in the South.

I also heard that to reach out to female voters, he was going to get some kind of operation and become some sort of "half man, half woman" shemale thing.
