Last time I flew into Reagan we were told if anyone got our of their seat during the last 30 minutes we would be diverted to Dulles and it would be up to us to get our own transportation to DC. That is AFTER we finished with the FBI, so this sounds like standard procedure. It is, because practically all of Washington is directly in Reagan National's flight path. In fact, the feds gave serious consideration to keeping Reagan closed permanently after the 9/11 groundings. It did remain closed for weeks afterwards, and when it reopened, there were two new rules: 1) Any movement on the plane for the first 30 minutes out or last 30 minutes in equals mandatory diversion. 2) All flights incoming and outgoing have sky marshals on board. It's about the only time you can be 100% sure of it.

The effect of alcohol at cabin pressure altitude of 8000ft is effectively doubled.I don't suppose that means the effect is quintupled at 32,000 feet, does it? ;)

Dogs check things out, then they pee on them.

I thought Dulles was where we were diverting them all away from. It's like musical airliners.

No, it's Hot Potato!

At last check, no liquor is catered on ANY American Eagle flight any longer. Been that way for at least a year. True, but free beer is served along with the sodas. It's true...

Depends on the meaning of 'win'. . .
Think of it as kind of a glass-half-empty vs a glass-half-full, observation/experience. . .

I'll bet she called the pilot on their intercom, or radio, or whatever. Haven't you ever watched the stewardess talk to the pilots on a phone from her post outside the door to the cockpit?

I don't think you really want to know what I have observed on some flights.

No, you're right. I don't need to hear accounts of things that will really scare me! LOL. I just took a trip across the country sitting between two young mommies with new-born babies, but being an old hand with babies, I just enjoyed the familiar sounds and smells. It was a little hard, though, watching what these women went through during the check-in. Someone suspected bombs in the babies' wrappings, evidently.

But what took the cake just now was Geraldo holding aloft a grenade! (He just picked it up at some surplus store. It's harmless). Is there not a way to deport this sh!t for brains to Siberia?
