SCOTTSDALE - Randi Coy, the unwitting "star" of a Fox reality series that debuted last night, is in hot water with the school where she teaches. Last summer, between graduating from Arizona State University and beginning life as first-grade teacher at Pope John XXIII Catholic School Community, Coy, 23, attended an open casting call in Scottsdale.

Erm...no...I'm guessing you did it for the money, and now you're realizing that you made a mistake. See what greed will do?

But does she also have some prize money?

You a network ad exec?

Hype tripe articles like this are garbage.

The show is over and the outcome known. She either was paid a half million or not. That is of direct importance for this article. But it is not mentioned at all because this is a PR article meant to hype a TV show.

I actually like this show, too because it exposes just how fradulent all of these "reality" shows really are. But the guy probably is going to take it too far.

Right on the money. Echoes of Paris Hilton's "leaked" sex video.

I did too. I thought the clod, Steve, was stinkin' hilarious and watching this snooty girl squirm was too funny.

Not even close.

Hype tripe articles like this are garbage. The show is over and the outcome known. She either was paid a half million or not. That is of direct importance for this article. But it is not mentioned at all because this is a PR article meant to hype a TV show.

If you'll re-read the article, you will notice the title, " Teacher ripped for reality TV role". The article is actually about the problems this person is having with her job after being on this program. Granted, there is a detailed description of the show in this article, but this would be necessary to include to illustrate why she was suspended from her teaching position.

Yep, this is just an glorifed ad for the show. They seem to be trying to drum up some "morals" controversy, but it seems that not even anyone at the school she teaches at really cares.

I'd say you seem to be the one who is not happy.

Um, why is a TV show worth posting to FR?

And at that, why an article that is simply PR hype?

I know, I'm a clown. Yes, that explains it. You are so clever.

OK.

She really doesn't sound ready to settle down and commit herself to teaching as her profession, does she? I can't fault the school on this, if she wants to be an actress, she should go be an actress and let someone who feels a calling to teach have her job.

If she got half a million she doesn't need the job.

Now please listen. Articles like this are make believe. This is all for show and for advertising.

She is not going to work another day in her life at this school. Articles like this are planned out long in advance of airing the show.

They are part of the show's promotional campaign.

"I'm taking it day by day... . I definitely have some resentment."

She has some resentment? As I read this, she was exposed as a lying slut who betrayed her family and prostituted herself for money.

As flim-flam artists used to say; "You can't cheat an honest man."

No sympathy for Randi Coy from me.

I would hope that no one had a gun to your head forcing you to read this post. If you don't like it, then move on.
