New Evidence of Moose-Cheese Nexus
compilation | 021404 | dep

Posted on 02/14/2004 6:46:32 PM PST by dep

Longtime Freepers are aware of the odd but diabolical relationship between cheese and moose. Likewise, we know of the chilling admonition, "all your base are belong to us." Now, through the power of the World Wide Web, further evidence supporting the connection between these seemingly disparate objects and phenomena has been established. Additionally, there is now a vague but apparently real connection with a popular restaurant chain which serves toasted submarine sandwiches.

But you need not take my word for it. If you have the flash player installed, you will find proof of the cheese-moose-sandwich connection here. If this were not alarming enough, the moose-"all our base are belong to us" connection is firmly established here. (WARNING: Contains images, including one of Al Gore, which may be objectionable to some and unfit for younger viewers.)

I rest my case.

And so are the McD's "lovin' it" crap...I'm not lovin' it a bit.

Agreed - why center an ad campaign on urban ganstas and alienate your mainstream customers. I'd love to see that demographic study.

I felt the same way (and I don't even eat Quiznos)

Actually I'd like to locate that ad agency and recommend that them to the DNC for Election 2004 ads.

I'm waiting for the class action lawsuit that charges that since McDonald's basically only uses African-Americans in its commercials now, it is almost exclusively marketing to that segment of the country, and through the power of that marketing, McDonalds is killing a disproportionate number of African-Americans through all of the health problems that come from eating large amounts of calories and fat.

I love the fact that Quiznos had the guts to take a funny thing from the internet and turn it into the focal point of their new marketing campaign.

But I think all of the stuff I've seen at rathergood.com is hilarious, so maybe I'm biased.

they're good. i'm irritated only by the fact that as it was playing i knew that i will sometime be minding my own business, hurting no one, and have that song pop into my head, after which it will take up residence. (as happened, believe it or not, with the moon song, which i saw the first time when jonah goldberg passed along the link weeks ago. jury is still out on "all your base," but i imagine it will go into the mix, too.) now, if there were a link to lyle lovett's "if i had a boat," i'd not have a brain cell to call my own.

Good one - the government failed to kill blacks with the importing crack to the inner cities scheme so now the corporation complex (which REALLY runs the government) doing it with food 'products' laced with tasty fat.

Somebody call Sharpton, he has a new issue!

i have a directory containing, to the best of my knowledge, all of the internet tourist guy pictures. i wish i knew of someone who wanted to do a production with them in flash or some such, because i think it is worth it. i've always imagined "the mighty quinn" running under it, but i bet somebody could come up with something much better.
