MSNBC is claiming we are a special interest group
Editor's Note: This week, the online version of the Newsweek poll received an unusually high rate of response, with the clear majority of participants casting uniform votes. For these reasons, we believe the poll is being intentionally manipulated. In addition, we received an e-mail alert suggesting that the campaign is being coordinated by at least one special-interest group.
The 'special interest group' is a link back to THIS THREAD.

"Free Republic is a special interest."
Good news: John F'n Kerry says he wants nothing to do with us.
Bad news: He's lying.

I'm especially intrested in seeing that none of the democratic candidates get themselves elected.

And MSNBC is a media outlet! Ha!
To: finnman69
MSNBC knew something was up because the number of hits on their poll in one day exceeded their cable television audience for an entire year.

The "Editor's Note" says that it believes the online polling is being "manipulated," and the Note illustrates this assertion by pointing to the FR thread.
But how is that thread manipulative of the polling results? It's just an online version of saying, "Hey, check out this poll, and vote if you're interested." The thread doesn't urge "stuffing the ballot box" or anything improper.

Editors note: This week's unscientific poll is super-especially unscientific in that it did not return the results we wanted.
