My best friend got back from the Kerry demonstration in Manhattan around 3:pm. I only spoke with him a few minutes, but he did say that the flag outside Kerry's office was hung backwards!! He said a camera-man was waiting, posed and ready to catch them fixing it, but they never did.

Knowing him, it was probably purposeful.

We should be grateful it wasn't upside down, I suppose.

Did anyone get a picture of the flag? Just one more thing on the long list that shows his true stripes.

I sure hope so, we may see it here on our local News. He said there were about 2,000 people there. SOMEBODY must have gotten pix.

Hung backward? Like with the blue field with the stars at the side far from the flagpole?

I just made a copy of the guy that wants to marry the tree. If I can get a copy of the backwards flag I'll make a print & put them all on my van. There's so many pictures & so little space on my van.

No, it was out the window, and blue field was on the upper right.

Well, after all, the man is a war hero. doesn't that give him the prerogative to define what's correct?
What a toadsucker.

I was there, and I did try to get a pic of it. I'll know later if it came out. NYC GOP Chick and Cacique had cameras too.
The flag had the union on the right, when it should be on the left. Of course, it would be hung correctly if you were sitting inside the office. And we're not 100% sure that was his office, though it was the correct building.
Anyway, there were certainly a lot of people in attendance, MANY of them Vietnamese. I would have guessed there were at least eight or nine hundred people there, but I'm not good at these thing so 2000 is certainly possible.

Use liberal math... any number of protestors over 50 can be called "Million".

No flagpole. It's displayed vertically inside a window. The union is supposed to be on the left.
Again, there was nothing else to identify that particular window as Kerry's office. Yet. Bwahaha...
To: hellinahandcart
If it's in a window, then wouldn't it be displayed correctly for those inside the room?

I have no problem using conservative math, there was a VERY good turnout.
To: gitmo
Yes, I said that earlier. If you're inside looking out, the union is on the correct side.
But I think when you put it in a window, like a curtain, you're supposed to worry about how it looks from outside. Someone here knows, I am sure.
To: clyde260
It's true... I was there, and I saw it too.
