On March 26, 2004 a contempt of court hearing is slated for Michael Schiavo. The previous hearing was postponed until now for at the request of Michael's attorneys.

We thank You for those dear souls who have labored these many years on her behalf, for surely they have sustained her family. We thank You for each one who has mentioned this mother's child before the Throne of Grace ... who has stood vigil ... who has petitioned on her behalf ... who has given that Terri might live. Take each effort, O God, and fashion them into a key that unlocks the door to Terri's prison. Release her from consigned darkness and despair ... release her from the sounds of the merchants of death on the march ... let them pass by her door and continue on into oblivion, unless they heed the sweet call of the Holy Spirit for repentance. bttt. Local radio reported this weekend that the Pope made a statement about Terri. Removing feeding tubes and calling someone a vegetable is IMMORAL and of course a sin. I haven't had time to google this but maybe someone can find the actual quote by the Pope.

Local Catholic Bishops, etc. are suffering from INDIFFERENCE or political ramifications. They have a different agenda which is to raise money and Terri is just a cause, not a human being. That's my take on it.

Tomorrow, Friday - March 26, 2004 - is the rescheduled hearing for the contempt of court motion against Michael Schiavo. The time is 9.30 am and the place is the Clearwater Courthouse on the corner of Fort Harrison and Court Street in Clearwater, Florida. If you are in the Tampa Bay area of Florida and would like to observe, this hearing is open to the public.

For those who are unable to be there, I will try to circulate an update immediately following.

The contempt of court issue rises from a 1996 Court Order that mandates Mr. Schiavo disclose any changes in Terri Schiavo's condition to her parents. As of this writing, Terri's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler are not being given information about several items dealing with Terri's medical condition.

Tomorrow, March 26th at 9:30 AM is the rescheduled contempt motion against Michael Schiavo.

The motion will take place in front of Judge Greer at the Clearwater Court House located at 324 Ft. Harrison in Clearwater, Florida. The court room is open to the public and you are all welcome to attend.

The motion stems from a 1996 Court Order which mandated Michael Schiavo to disclose any changes in Terri condition to her parents. Of course, as of this date March 25th, Terri's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler are still not being given any information about Terri.

Since Terri's move to Park Place assisted living it has become evident to the Schindler family that Terri's personal care has gone down hill. On several occasions they have questioned why Terri's hair was oily and why she appeared to have not been bathed. Two weeks ago, a tooth in her mouth came up missing. Recently, she has developed a decubitus ulcer on an area of her body which points directly to pressure and lack of her being repositioned. Of course, the Schindler's are still not able to ascertain any answers with regard to any of the concerns they have about their daughter's well-being and medical condition.

I am planing on attending the hearing tomorrow. I will hope to follow up with an email post hearing.
