Stern Wages War against Bush

Ha ha this is rich
Howard Stern is waging war against Bush. He is telling his 8 million listeners (roughly 1/3 of the amount Rush Limbaugh has), not to vote for Bush. Correct me if I am wrong, but I would imagine that most of the smut-happy morons who listen to this guy probably wouldnt vote for Bush anyway, (if they even bother to vote).
These are the type of people who buy into all that democratic mantra that republicans are for the rich, they are prolife when the baby is unborn, but as soon as the baby is born, they want to take food out of their mouths, Ashcroft wants to send a secret GOP squad to sneak into your homes and see who youre sleeping with, etc etc
All the typical smear and lies about republicans.
And the Stern crowd buys into it while blowing dope in the wind and getting entertained by some lesbian taking her shirt off.
Go for it, Howard. Lets see what you got!

The second bit of advice --'If it offends you, don't buy it' -- is both lulling and destructive. Whether you buy it or not, you will be greatly affected by those who do. Funny; I've often wondered what your typical libertarian would do if he moved into a neighborhood of expensive homes and someone bought a lot next door and set up an old trailer with junk cars, a family of coon hounds, and pink flamingos in the front yard.

Public airways are owned, obviously, by the public.
Socialist.
The government sets the airways aside as property. Once it leases that property in the form of licenses, it should step back and allow the free market to flourish.

I was trying to find just how many listeners Rush has. No Luck yet,
The people who listen to Howard Stearns in my opinion have to young teens and perverts. People who only think about sex like Howard the Pig does.
The facts are that there are a lot less Republicans in this country but guess what. They vote. They care,
Did you see Hillay last night being interviewed by Katie Curic. What a one sided position Katie took. She kept trying to get Hillary to say she hated Bush and was she sorry that she voted for the war. To my surprise Hillary did not say she was sorry for voting for the war. The war was necessary,
Someone needs to put Katie out of her misery.

One thing that I'm curious about: We've heard about the six Clear Channel stations that carry Stern and that are being fined. Are they the only stations carrying Stern? If not, why aren't the other stations that carry Stern being fined, if there are any?

Stern is a vile sickening degenerate.
My sentiments exactly.
Stern wages war against Bush.
The old saying you can tell a lot about someone by the enemies he has. To have Stern as your enemy is plus in my book.

The terms of his divorce are sealed, however,....

While I understand the sentiment, I strongly disagree - that's too much of a cop-out and why we have the filth in our culture that we do (and I don't mean this in any way as a personal attack against your statement). With Stern, it's not the language as much as the context and content. One can say "lesbian", but to have lesbians on his show discussing their sexual exploits or actually kissing each other (even though on radio) is an obvious line to draw. A shock jock discussing excretory functions in an effort to shock/humor/gross out people - no. A licensed doctor discussing excretory functions in an effort to help people - yes.
And "turning the channel" is a huge cop-out, and irritates me to hear that as an argument. If you want to have this stuff on pay-per-view/HBO/Showtime, etc., fine. But we're talking about free airwaves, and it's the free airwaves that I'm talking about regulating. You want to pay for this, fine. But the accessibility to this crap by children should give us all pause for concern.

If Howard Stern realized just how insignificant he is he would have a heart attack and die.

I cant even listen to Stern anymore. I cant take this stupid sexual talk. But I will say, dont underestimate Stern. He also helped Al Damato win the 92 senate race when he was behind in the polls.

Great, cite the New Deal to prove that your attitude isn't socialist?
To: Adam36
He supported Al D'Amato in 1998, and Chuck won. Then in 2000, his support for Rick Lazio led to the canonization of Senator Hillary Clinton.
And don't overestimate the amount of listeners Stern has, especially since he's alienating most with his Bush rants now.
Stern is a pathetic hypocrite!

Is Howard Stern still alive? Last time I saw a picture of him, he looked like the Cryptkeeper with a Star Jones wig.
To: PatriotEdition
Now that potty talk is banned from radio Stern is working the only angle he has left. The down side for him is that his audience will quickly tire of it and fade away. He needs to get a grip and then get a hair cut (in that order).
