They're playing CYA! It's their fault they're a failure, they want to blame someone else for their failure. It's right in the Democrat playbook.

What is a DNS attack?

I would like to point out that there is a wide variety of viewpoints on this site, including heated debates.

This is the first I have heard of this. Reminded me of Hillary blaming Miss Monica on a VRW conspiracy when it turned out it was a buddy of hers (Kaye?) who recommended Miss Monica -- something I always felt was odd.

I didn't know they even HAD a site. I wouldn't be caught dead over there. I don't have the stomach for it. Plus, I run across enough them right here in Free Republic.

"What is a DNS attack?"

If you have a no budget network with a no budget user, one person can log on at a time. So if one freeper went to their website no one else would be able to get to it since it would then be busy. That would deny service to other wanna be users. So our challenge is to find the one freeper who actually went there.

My guess is that the site got overloaded, they went through the server logs, saw a bunch of traffic coming from FR links, paranoia took over, and they pole-vaulted over logic and reason and landed on the conclusion that we were doing a DoS attack. Which is silly and ridiculous.

I occasionally host a graphic on my webspace for inclusion in a post here, and my server logs show a big spike in traffic from FR. Ain't no big deal.

Sorry, it was me. I went there to laugh at their stupidity, but was was almost bored into a coma.

If you're referring to AA, perhaps, but we don't have to speculate about what happened to FR. We already know for certain.

That's why whenever I vote on a web poll, or go to a site like that, I try to go through DU, just to screw them up.

A DNS Attack changes the pointers on the internet.

Someone must have mistakenly changed it to

Air America = DNC

It would be an understandable error.
