his "commitment" to the 9/11 families is all lip service
and made-for-TV drama. but I can't help but wonder why those
few thousand families seem to be the only americans left
in washington DC these days.

He's only sorry that even the liberal lapdog media was forced to notice it.

I like the fact he gets a rebuke for what looks to me like a preplanned political slight.

If there had been a camera in the Oval Office, Bob Kerrey would have put in an Oscar winning "outraged and indignant" performance worthy of Jack Nicholson, and he would have stayed for ten hours, demanding more time for more questions.

Lying hypocritical scum.

What the hell does he mean he has a full time job. Is he not getting paid to be a senator or is being a senator just a meaningless side job to him.

Where's his apology to the President and Vice-President?

This is the problem with leftist pigs like Kerrey and Hamilton; they respect neither the office nor the man elected to serve the office of the President.

That's why Clinton's legacy is what it is.

"I've got a full-time job . . . And I've left my university for already well over 100 hours of work to try to do my job on this commission," Kerrey said.

So they can't handle the pressure of their own schemes that they have plotted eh?

Stand tall fellow, for I know a Texan that hasn't faltered in doing his job and has encountered much, much more stressful situations than YOU could ever dream of Mr. Kerrey.

Bob Kerrey's little stunt has reduced what little veracity the commission had left, after their blatant political badgering of witnesses. Did the commission do everything in it's power to find out the truth about 9/11? Obviously not. They couldn't even stay to hear the President out.

Kerrey's just a tool and a little tool at that.

I rather like watching political hacks self-destruct.

I hope they keep it up.

Kerrey's barber is amazing. Having to cover up that smelly and hairy crevice that splits his skull right down the middle can't be easy.

There's no way he could have rescheduled the meeting with Domenici. After all, he couldn't have kept Domenici waiting just because he was meeting with the President of the United States (and the Vice President) on the question of foreign attacks against innocent American civilians on American soil. Not when Domenici wants to talk about funding for some university.

C'mon, people. We've got to get our priorities straight.

They should have hung posters of Debra Winger and Linda Ronstadt (when their were in their prime) on the oval office walls.

Then, Kerry might have stayed longer.

The former Nebraska senator said he had a noon appointment to keep with Sen. Pete Domenici (R-N.M.) to discuss funding for a project at the New School University, where he serves as president.

Kerrey is now a self-admitted deserter from the 911 Commission. He chose to be a money whore with Pete Domenici, rather than the most important meeting of the aforementioned commission. Hamilton is also a deserter.

The funny thing is that people reading the article will assume it's John Kerry that's facing the criticism.

I don't think that there is anyone in this world that would get up and walk out of a meeting with the President of these United States. What a blunder, and what a stupid man.
