Should President Bush temporarily lift his ban on new lines of stemcells?

I say he should. Not because of the death of Reagan but because if we dont the rest of the world will leave us behind in this burgeoning field. Not to mention that so long as fetuses are being destroyed during abortion, we might as well not let there sacrifices go in complete vain.

Would Ronald Reagan support fetal cannibalism? I don't think so.

There has been a break through in stemm-cell production in Germany. Here production of stem-cells is forbidden as well. Thus scientists had to find alternatives.
Apparently they can produce stem-cells from blood-cells from anyone and reproduce different cells of the developed human body...

What is it like, being so ghoulish?

Would the destruction of six million Jews had been worth it, if it had cured cancer?

No. His order concerns only Federal stemcell families anyway. Stick to principle.

I have heard that stem cells from umbilical cords may be used.

Substitutes are the answer. None of us is spare parts for anyone else, without our informed consent.

The left-wing media tries to leave the impression that stem cells only come from embryos. They just want to have the power to do whatever they want with human life.

Did he ever countenance Sarah Brady's use of his near murder to ban firearms?

I am totally opposed to abortion once a fetus develops. At the embryonic stage it really doesn't bother me. I'm not one of those who believes that God zaps a soul into every combination of sperm and egg at that very instant.

University of Lübeck used cells from the pancreas of a 74 year old female to produce stemm-cells with similar characteristics as fetal stemm-cells. Apparently on group of scientists even had samples cultures that reproduced cells.

Yes, but only with the written consent of each fetus they are to be taken from. Otherwise...NO!

Isn't that kinda like suggesting that for the next 24 hours you can off anybody you don't like and not get blamed for it?

If something is morally wrong, it is always morally wrong.

So long as fetuses are being destroyed during abortion, we might as well stripmine them.
