AKRON -- The leader of Ohio's largest mosque was found guilty of lying to become a U.S. Citizen on Thursday.
Imam Fawaz Mohammed Damra left the courthouse with his wife by his side and surrounded by dozens of supporters. Damra is free for now but that could change when he returns for his sentencing September 9th.
A jury of eight women and four men say the religious cleric lied to become a citizen a decade ago. Damra stayed still as the verdict was read. Now he faces the possibility of losing his citizenship, being deported and possibly imprisoned.

President Washington would have had these terrorists executed.
But then our country was at War.

I gotta ask the obvious question..what are the odds the guy's still around when they come to deport him> IN OTHER WORDS, WHY DIDN'T THEY CONFINE HIM PENDING DEPORTATION?

I'm glad to hear this because I was arguing with some jackass a few weeks ago who tried to say that citizenship cannot be revoked from a naturalized citizen. I merely quoted what an agent of DHS told me.
To: Alouette
Alouette, did you happen to hear Mike Tivasonno when he announced the verdict today? He kept calling the guy "Dahmer" and, knowing Triv, the listener didn't know if he was just being ignorant or doing it for effect. (Personally, I think he's just a lazy listener.)

Your friend "jack" probably confused naturalized citizens with regular citizens.

I noticed that too, and drew the same conclusion.

One can only speculate, but I personally think that a major portion of the nation just does not realize that We Are At War!

Triv can be highly entertaining, but at times I just have to turn him off! (Crudity can go too far).
