A few minutes ago I posted here about Linda Ronstadt. No swearing, no personal insults. Other posters here viciously attacked and insulted Ronstadt, their posts remain. My post got deleted within minutes. Are you guys really that scared? I believe in free speech and the exchange of opinions, obviously you don't. Mr Robinson, answer me: on what basis was my post deleted? I almost feel compelled to post on various other websites how I doubled up laughing about the cowardice on display here. Again, show me your courage please, cheers from the Leftist Dutchman!

I haven't really researched the relative strength of the Dutch economic and political institutions, so I have no comment about them.
However, your analysis of the condition of the political and economic institutions indicates three possibilities: (1) You are woefully misinformed due to exposure to leftist commentaries and news outlets; (2) You have attempted to research the available factual data but simply lack the intellectual ability to draw reasonable conclusions from the data; or (3) You simply make up your own conclusions and then repeat them even though you know them to be false.
Contrary to your stated opinion, going into Iraq was NOT a horrific mistake. Regime change in Iraq has been the official US policy since about mid-way thru clinton's second term. It was far overdue, and it will improve stability in the Middle East rather than degrading it.
You state that no WMDs have been found and no ties between Iraq and Al Qaeda have been established. Again, both of these statements are false. Either you are ignorant and misinformed or you are a liar.
As for the rest of your comments about Afghanistan, world terrorism, and political futures, my son's six-week-old kitten offers more intelligent and thought-provoking conversation.

thank you all for hanging aroung. I would not consider myself a liberal, though. That word is used in Holland for those adopting the Late Capitalist Small Govt No Taxes line of thinking, which I strongly object to. I don't mind paying taxes for decent public services, which we have in Holland. As I said, the trend towards Late Capitalism is on the rise in Holland, and that is not a good thing. I am deeply opposed to the privatization of Correctional Facilities/Prisons, for instance. Nor do I believe in the privatization of public transport, energy companies, and water supplies. We witnessed with horror the California electricity scandal, which had everything to do with issues concerning privatization, although you no doubt will blame Gray Davis.
I do not believe in depleting the world's national resources supplies either, but sadly enough the SUV craze has hit Holland too. Bad, as in baaaaad.
These were, admittedly, random thoughts.
As for Iraq: I found a lot of insult and threats in your posts, and very little that could be construed as 'factual'. I studied in the sciences and am a firm believer in the way Karl Popper looked upon facts, and how to deal with them. That said, I will diligently look at the links provided by the more intelligent posters who replied. But references to Hannibal Lecter, or death threats, I find rather boring. They don't impress me at all and just confirm the opinion held by many Europeans left, right and center, that a lot of U.S. inhabitants are trigger-mad violent intruders. You may trust that I don't hold such a general view. I like Americans, like American culture (Hawthorne, Ives, Melville, Twain, Springsteen, for instance), like the U.S. work ethic and much more. It's just that I cannot second many of the USA's politics at the mo.
So there. And I am not a troll - I wonder what constitutes a troll here: someone who does not follow the party line? Please explain.

Explain then how mix in flight binary chemical artillery shells which Iraq had no examples thereof prior to 1996 end up in Iraq?
