The last few months I've seen an increasing trend for FReepers to start going for each others jugular. Sometimes we forget (I've certainly done it myself) that in the grand scheme of things, we are on the same team. We may disagree on priorities or how far we are willing to go, but we have enough enemy in the left without creating more amongst ourselves. We can disagree but be civil to each other. We can debate nuance, but not believe that our personal positions are more important than the health of the whole. Let's argue vigorously but remind ourselves the guy whose trachia we are ripping out today may be sitting next to us in a foxhole tommorrow.

I'm going to propose that we all make a new start. Let's put all past differences behind us and resolve to band together and fight the good fight, the elimination of liberalism as a significant culturual influence in America...and see that to its end in our lifetimes.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY has any idea what leaders on this Forum go through to represent FR.

I don't believe we could survive on a pecking order, outside of the board moderators. With all due respect, you're no more a leader than I am. The fact you registered in 1997 and I registered in 2001 is irrelevant. Jim Robinson already heeded the call to work together to re-elect George Bush months ago, and I told him and everyone else in that thread at that time that I planned on heeding that call. Jim Robinson is a leader. You, my FRiend are just someone just frustrated with the current environment.

Who's responsible for giving out that info? Trust me, I've "been there, done that". Of the ones who've threatened online to hunt me down and to bust down my door years ago, haven't bothered to show up. Those people know where I live.

No disrespect but if you mean that the way I am reading it then that is a dumb statement.

Jim is the big dog but I am positive he leans on quite a few FReepers when it comes to running and representing this site. I would consider those FReepers "leaders" to a certain extent. If they are laying down their life and helping to serve this site then why shouldnt they be?

There is a difference between posting here, donating here and actually spending time to keep FR running & growing.

Kind of like the "I served in war, so my opinion about [name any war past or present] is higher and more valid than yours, since you've never served this country in times of war". I'll pass. But I have done more outside of FR, that you will never hear about.
