KERRY JUST TANKED IN THE IOWA ELECTRONIC MARKET!!!
Iowa Electronic Market ^

Bush and Kerry have been neck and neck for a bout a week, but people DUMPED Kerry stock today! In fact, Kerry dipped as low as $0.45 intraday and Bush went as high as $0.57 intraday. I'm so excited about this because the IEM has been PROVEN to be FAR MORE ACCURATE than polling over the past 20 years!!! There hasn't been this dramatic a one-day change since Kerry announced Edwards. But there hasn't been any key "event" to trigger this. Is it the Swifty coverage???

Save your breath. There's a long way to go. It's the battleground states that matter. It's too close.

Remember this next week, when the MSM focuses exclusively on demonstrators being arrested at the RNC in NYC.

Looks like Kerry's appearance on The Daily Show and Max Cleland's letter delivery photo-op are really paying off.

It's probably the new LA slimes poll showing bush with a lead...people know that if they show a 3 pint bush lead, it's probably at least double that.

I like it.
Hope it stays at this level.

That's good news, and I know that that Iowa market thing has a good track record. I just can't get too optimistic when I reflect on the amazing, biased coverage by the media in Kerry's favor. It's so bad that I'm amazed we ever get a Republican elected to the presidency.

Yeah, and oil was flirting with $50 a barrel last week, and now it is down to $43. Get a grip of yourself.
There will be many ups and downs ahead of us...

Thanks for the post. I've been telling people this for several days now. I watched it trending and noticed that mainstream polls were also showing a break-out for Bush. Great post.

This election is going to be a landslide. Kerry's wife will then divorce him and hook up with Howard Dean.

There may be more ups and downs, but this election is over, and this is the week it happened.
Look back in a year, you'll see.

You may be correct,
"Save your breath. There's a long way to go. It's the battleground states that matter. It's too close."
Also...an added benefit if it's still close is that shrillary is shut out........if John F'n "flip-flop fop" Kerry seriously implodes/tanks/self-destructs rather than in slow motion then expect the wicked witch of the west wing to warm up her broom stick.

I've been following the futures market here:
http://www.tradesports.com/
and the same thing has been happening, although Bush has been steadily growing for days now in the tradesports market. (it looks like Iowa just sort of caught up to the tradesports market in a one-day jump.)

It's so bad that I'm amazed we ever get a Republican elected to the presidency. I often feel this way too. I wonder how much of a difference the media makes.

I have been watching the IEMs and it seems to me that they lag a few days behind events.
