No.......he look ILL,physically sick.

Wife said he looked like an undertaker ... or was it he looks like he's ready for an undertaker. Oh well, she got tired of his aimless yelling and went to the other room. Not going to bother her about this, as I think both descriptions are applicable.

She's never gotten over losing Ben Stiller, I'll bet.

Even he has better sense than to hook up for too long with the likes of this one.

Richard,if you believe that your state conventions are boring, banal, shallow, whatever,YOU don't belong there."GLAD HANDING" is the way things get done. You've just proved that you neither understand nor really know what politics is and isn't.It has ALWAYS been like this. You have some weird, convoluted, childish perception of things.

And there hasn't been a politician,in the history of this nation, nor,I'd venture to say,any other nation in the history of the world, who didn't make promises;most of which were undeliverable. It just might help you,to do some research on this matter, not excluding just how much this president HAS fulfilled many of the promises he made at the last GOP Convention! :-)

Go to LP,FU,or whatever other site would suit you, because FR most assuredly is NOT where YOU belong.

This is REAL life,it isn't some UTOPIA,where all the things YOU imagine should be,is.And guess what? IT NEVER WAS !

There are HUGE differences between the GOP and the Dems;you just appear to be incapable of seeing it.And your blinkered views don't give you a pass on hanging crepe all over this or any other HAPPY thread.

You may think that everyone else here is beneath your high opinion of your own self;however, that is just NOT the case. Many of us are far MORE knowledgeable about politics and history than you'll ever be.And yes, this IS a slap-down that you have been begging for...enjoy it. :^)

I amazed! She watched it all and she's 10? You should be proud. My 11 y.o. was rolling over the back of the couch and hit me in the head with her feet while I was watching the speech. She just can't keep still, LOL!

I heard today the last debate is being held in Tempe. Have you heard any particulars? Aso, have you ever gone down to the RNC parties on election night? I've never gone and it looks like fun.

"I speak fluent Spanish. I'm a direct descendent of Martha Washington. I lived in Mexico and Argentina. Who can be so small minded in 2004 to think anyone who speaks any other language is of a different race?"Yes. Well, this is just a 'pet peeve' of my own. The characteristic of a 'race' and the characteristics of an 'ethnic' group are quite different.

I also get kinda torqued at the PC Weenies who look for any chance to point ant scream - "Racist!"

And unfortunately, there are a few of those weenies on FR.

...con Dios.

I'm in Tucson so haven't heard details on the Tempe debate except I know it will be held there.

So exciting!

I thought Mary Lou was going to become Jim Peck and embarass herself during the walk-through to the stage. She came so close to falling down on stage . . . embarassing to a 36-year old speaker. I was so scared watching her stumble.

Thank-you for answering in depth, and specifically. I appreciate it. Though I still disagree with your take on Bush's speech, I understand your concerns about some of the domestic proposals, and respect them. I share some of those concerns.
But I respectfully submit that our focus now, in the middle of this war against Islamo-fascism, at this point in American history *MUST* be on keeping our equivalent of Winston Churchill (Bush) in office, as opposed to an obvious & confirmed 21st century equivalent of Neville Chamberlain (Kerry).
I have a wife & children I love deeply and want to see kept safe: accordingly, "domestic" concerns have pretty much fallen off of my radar screen as a major point of contention with the leadership of my Party since 9/11/01. Sorry, but that's just the way I feel.

I'm surprised Drudge doesn't have a picture of Bush at convention as his main screen shot.

He still has the hurricane (which I know is important, but for a little while he could put the big picture of Bush up there).

Sometimes I just don't understand Drudge and his reasoning. Newsmax already has their big picture posted.

Some MSNBC warthog just called the Marshall Tucker Band "gutbucket Southern blues."

The Caldwell brothers are dead, bless their souls, but I know my stuff and MTB was the best band of the last 35 years and the boys & girls from the Allman's, Skynyrd, Eagles, Outlaws, Poco, CSNY, ZZ Top, and all the rest understood it. Every musician I've ever met or respect knows that when Toy, Tommie, Doug, George, Paul and Jerry hooked it up ... close down the night, you've seen the best.

Nobody ... from Seger, Fleetwood Mac or any other headliner wanted MTB as their "undercard". They suffered in comparison.

Steve Earle has a lot of talent, and he's up next. Good, I want to hear what lefty Steve Earle has to say about Toy Caldwell's relative musical talent vs. his. Yeah ... right!

I was talking to a girl who works in the bakery at my supermarket, and she opined that "Kerry is the devil."

If I were fifteen years younger, I believe I'd propose.

We may not agree on everything. But we agree on the only thing important in 2004. Therefore, I salute you.

Good men can disagree. But they must first be good men.

In my estimation, you are a good and honest man.
