While in Reserves, Kerry met with Communists
PittsburghLive ^ | Sept. 3, 2004 | James Laux, Lt. Colonel (Retired)

While a commissioned officer in the inactive Naval Reserve, Mr. Kerry traveled to Paris, France, and met with official delegations from the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam) and the Provisional Revolutionary Government (the Viet Cong). The Vietnamese Communists eagerly met Mr. Kerry and benefited directly from the obvious propaganda victory.

These acts are clear violations of the legal prohibitions on individual citizens negotiating with foreign powers and the constitutional prohibition against giving support to our nation's enemies in wartime. Additionally, as a commissioned officer of the Naval Reserve, Mr. Kerry was subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice and likely violated it ("aiding the enemy") through his actions with the North Vietnamese/Viet Cong delegation.

Insofar as I know, Clinton never committed overt acts of treason for which our enemies celebrate him. He merely espoused a cavalier attitude regarding national secrets and considered them an appropriate reward for illegal foreign campaign cash. Yeah, Clinton's a serious criminal, but he's not a traitor--at least not an open traitor like copartisans Kerry and Moore.

I have a feeling that a Swift Boat ad is forthcoming on this very subject.

I agree with the Lt. Colonel.
This cannot be explained away.
Devastating.

The Pittsburgh Tribune is MSM, sort of, but it's considered a conservative newspaper, so it's not "real" MSM.

But the LA Times is, and they were foolish enough to publish an endorsement of Kerry by a former Viet Cong.

It's amusing, they think this will help Kerry?

Well, nobody explained why Clinton went to the Soviet Union, huddled with KGB in some hotel room in the middle of the winter, several times, while he was studying at Oxford.

The Tribune-Review is the paper that was told to "shove it," wasn't it?

Traction, folks.

There are a lot of voters unaware of Kerry's service to
North Vietnam.

Even a letter to the editor helps.

That they would publish it reveals either:
a. objective reporting philosophy, or
b. an MSM outlet trying to save their own sorry butt
in the face of 4 more years of no lib president

I've been hoping the same thing. I'll bet this is in their line up of ads to come. The Swiftees need to make this picture of Kerry that hangs in the Vietnam museum public.

"Clinton's a serious criminal, but he's not a traitor.:

I believe Clinton's financial relationship with Loral and the transfer of missile guidance technology to China gets close enough to convince me of treason....

Clinton/Gore had far too many "connections" with Chinese Government/Military and Buddhist "monks" and their money to be legal or non-treasonous...

Clinton sold us out....plain and simple.. But he smiled, and most of his stupid "suckers" forgave him...

If memory serves....I thought there was SPECIFIC mention in the Constitution to prevent folks that were guilty of Kerry's reported transgressions during wartime to achieve the presidency....

But then, the Democrats believe the Constitution is a living document - to be changed or ignored to suit their needs or moods...

This election will drive the Democrats to levels of depravity that NONE of us could ever have imagined....
