I can't cite the sources right now, but I have read that Kerry's father was in the diplomatic corps and was very leftwing in his idealogy. I think Kerry learned his pinko philosophy from his dad.

The communists infiltrated and eventually took over leadership of the VVAW in the 70s....The communists are great "organizers" and know how to use propaganda...They take a legitimate cause like civil rights and turn it into the direction they want it to go.

Sometimes the communists did more than infiltrate. They saw an aggrieved group and actually shepherded them into "organizing for a cause." I was in Ireland in January 1969 when the buzz all over was that there were going to be "protest marches" in the north during the coming summer. These students, bartenders, and young workers did not simultanesously decide to visit Belfast, Dundalk, Derry, etc for their summer holidays. I am not saying that IRA leaders are or were communists, but willing partners when the suggestions to mobilize were made.

The resentment between Catholics and Protestants was real and ageless, but the shooting war was subtly instigated by communist agitators, I am sure.

IIRC the religious cults got their operation tactics from the communists.....Read the book "Eleana". Written by the son about how his mother gave her life to save her children from the communist take over in Greece. It's a plan used by the terrorist today too.
