I think it was this guy Robert Strong. The snip below is from CBS's own article.
Robert Strong was a friend and colleague of Killian who ran the Texas Air National Guard administrative office in the Vietnam era. Strong, now a college professor, also believes the documents are genuine.
"They are compatible with the way business was done at the time. They are compatible with the man that I remember Jerry Killian being," says Strong. "I don't see anything in the documents that is discordant with what were the times, what was the situation and what were the people involved."

In an act of panic due to Kerry's plunge in the polls, the left wing lunatics and their buddies at CBS ran with this pack of lies. Like the Wilson/Plame blogging lies, it has exploded on them.
My husband brought up something interesting yesterday, he wondered how much CBS had paid for the documents. I didn't even think of this angle.
Could the forgeries be motivated by money as well as Bush-hatred?
If the Kerry campaign can't even forge decent documents, how can we trust them to run the government?
I believe it was John Kerry himself. The method of his 'gaming' in Unfit for Command was to file fraudlent reports to make himself look good. It's the same old game only this time, the dirty commie was caught red handed.
