Yes, it is true... at its heart, the Democrat Party wants a Socialist America.

 

Want proof?  Here is a list of self-proclaimed Socialists in American Government:

They are all members of an organization called the Democrat Socialists of America.  They even have a website:

So, when you go to the voting booth in November, before you pull the lever for a Democrat, realize that doing so could very well put the Socialists in power.

And on their very website today, the Communist Party of the USA states openly, nay touts that Socialism is the preferred way to reach their goals.

In case anyone doubts this, it in on their sidebar column as Socialism USA. And not so long ago, MoveOn.org was a banner link on the main page of their website, cpusa.org. And their site featuring Al Gore was so similar it was confusing as to which was which. I wonder why they dropped the link.;D

When I was in school, I was taught that socialism was a compromise between communism and capitalism, and as such worked better than either individually. There is still a free market concept in socialism, but the government is able to influence the markets in a beneficial way by controlling the large industries.

My point is that exposing the Democrats as socialists doesn't do much when the majority of the people don't really understand why socialism is bad. The promises of socialism all sound great: free health care, help to needy families, free public transportation, punishing the evil rich people.

What is needed is a campaign to explain why capitalism and limited government is the right way to go, and that the Democrats are pushing for total government control of everything.

I have written before on why socialism is doomed to fail, but capitalism has a high probability of success, but I won't repeat that here.

Probablly got a few phone calls and letters to the editors of smaller town newspapers in her distyrict exposing her as the bolshevik she is. She may have quit the "progressive" caucus, but I'll bet she still votes right along with them. She just quit them to have a little plausible deniability.
