Thanks. I hope the average undecided will give the debate just a little reflection like it took for me to reach that conclusion. I did not like the way Pres. Bush looked so dismayed. However, like you said, the pressure must be enormous. He knows he must win for the good of GOOD!

I agree. The DemocRATs-MSM will pull no punch...but to no avail on Nov. 2, 2004.

Mark my words that's what coming

Well, American mothers are going to put the lives of their children in the hands of French mothers?

No, 'global testing' will never be accepted by the US.

The Democratic base likes it, but the American people, including those 'swing voters' are going to opt for a man who is going to defend them first and not worry about getting permission from the Germans and French to do so.

Here is one of his lies....just pulled this off of Drudge after a considerable wait:

FLASH: Kerry stated: 'That's why they had to close down the subway in New York when the Republican Convention was there.' (Driving home point that Bush as not done enough to protect the country.)

The NYC subway did not close at all during the convention, according to a report on cable outlet NY1, even though Penn station was shut for several hours...

For Kerry, it's power. For Bush, it's the fate of the world.

JFnK played his base card (howard dean-like, lol) tonight and I think confused the HONESTLY UNDECIDED (which I don't believe there are any left btw) if anything. His Kumbaya crap is very transparent...

There was a commie named Kerry
Whose face was so long it was scary
He said with a grin
While draging his chin
If I Am Elected the terrorists will all be merry

Complements of Hells Canyon....

On the domestic issues, all President Bush has to keep hammering to the American People is Fairy Kerrie's senate votes for the last 30 years, and the lack of ANY substantive bill he introduced in that time. He was lame duck senator the very first day he entered the halls of Congress. To him, it was only a notch on his bed post to climb to the presidency. He could care less about this nation.....it was and is always kerry, kerry, kerry.

But I saw a Kerry TKO on technique,

You think a month from now people are going to remember Kerry's techinque or his 'global testing'?

Clinton was smart enough to pretend to be a centrist but Kerry sure isn't. Massachuessets liberalism won't get another shot at primetime for a generation if ever.

My opinion is based on prior debates and the fact that Kerry really is good on this issue.

It will remain to be seen, but I have low expectations for that debate.

My expectations for this one were not as high as others either.

Bush only needs to hold his own. He does not need to win these debates. So try to keep that in mind.

Most people complaining tonight had the expectation that Bush might put Kerry away. It never crossed my mind. Kerry is just too good of a debate strategist.

Bush only needs to stay focused and do what he does best by communicating to all the people.

Kerry only appeals to the elites, wackos and malcontents.

I'm feeling pretty good after talking to my dad about the debate. He's fairly moderate, and he said that Kerry didn't seem convincing to him. He said that too much of Kerry's message seemed to focus on how he would do better, even though he didn't have a plan that was very different from Bush's, and how he would have done things differently. He thought Kerry had a few good points, but that Bush has done good and he didn't think it was necessary to change presidents in the middle of the war unless Kerry had a vastly different plan that would work better.
