Dennis Miller on the Tonight Show was excellent.. as unpredictable he is in the political realm, he showed his true colors tonight. Stated his deep concerns over Kerry's vacillations and inability to state a position on Iraq.. and some other issues.. and then expressed his support of Bush on the Terrorism Issue... after describing Kerry's multiple positions on the subject, he says he likes Bush because he is a regular guy, he wakes up each morning, puts two feet on the floor, stands up and scratches his b_lls, and says "lets kill some more terrorists".. came across very well, even tho this description might not show it..

I didn't watch, but I haven't considered Miller "unpredictable" in years. He seems to be someone who Just Gets It after 9/11. And he's funny as hell. :-)

Where have you been?
Dennis Miller doesn't need to redeem himself.
He kicked ass as usual.
If only he had filled in for Bush during the first debate...

I was channel surfing after the debate, first came to MSNBC and was listening up for some good solid positive comments on Cheney. I had to leave after I saw Ron Reagan Jr on there as I just can't stand that guy.
I did go over to CNBC and caught Miller ... man, he was great!! There was one left leaning lady on his panel of three that couldn't get any points against Cheney, as she was obviously not listening to any content, i.e. she just didn't like Cheney. But Miller was fantastic, he was a regular Republican chearleader all the way. Would be good to have a taped repeat of him.

While I agree with you about Dennis, the President cannot act like that, debate or no debate, unless you want another Bill Clinton in the White House.

I just remembered that the "Tonight Show" reairs on all NBC stations that have no local programming and use the network feed at 2:00 AM ET. Check local listings. This show with Miller could possibly rerun early Thursday morning, but some times it's not the previous day's show. It will rerun within the week. They don't reair the shows like Fox News does where you have three chances to watch the same O'Reilly or twice on Hannity and Colmes.

No redemption necessary. He is a Bush supporter, and a brave one.
I saw his remarks and the response from the audience tonight. VERY encouraging!

It was a rhetorical statement offered for sheer entertainment value.

I liked the line about Edwards' handlers "numbering his body parts so they could put him back together after Cheney finished slicing and dicing him."

Miller has been a supporter of GWB for a long time now. 9/11 changed him, and though he is still a bit of a milquetoast on social issues, he is a good Republican.

I watch Dennis Miller's show a lot and usually enjoy it.
His show is what I mistakenly expected Maher's Politically Incorrect to be like when I first heard about it.

"Really sad that he will carry his great fathers name! UGH!"
He's not. He's Ronald Prescott Reagan. His father is Ronald Wilson Reagan. There's no name-carrying occurring here.
