Saturday, I attended a rally in support of our President George W. Bush. It was sponsored by Moms4Bush.com. In my opinion it was a very successful event. Below are some of the highlights.
The event began with an introduction by Linda Bergin, who is the head of the NJ Chapter for Moms4Bush.com. She did a superb job is putting this event together. Btw, she served in the Air Force.
There were approximately 300 people attending this event.
We said the Pledge Of Allegiance.
A Father gave an invocation.
Speakers:-
Nancy - Founder of Moms4Bush.com. Spoke about the number one election year issue, Our National Security and the War on Terrorism. Security trumps everything. Contrasted President Bush to John Kerry.
Dan A Retired NYC Firefighter - A retired firefighter from Company 1. He was there on 9/11. When he wasn't pulling out dead people from the WTC he was attending funerals of fallen firefighters. He currently has a respratory problem that was caused by the abestos. When the towers came down it crushed all their equipment including their oxygen tanks that would have protected them from the asbestos. He squarely blames the terrorists and not one politician is at fault. He told some funny jokes about Kerry. His company is the only union that openly fought their bosses to do polling and they support our President.
Trade Simmons - Admirably filled in as the mcee as Steve Malzberg could not make it. He came out with a new CD called Country Freedom 43, for patriotic people only! He sang the first song called "President George W. Bush (You Don't Push Bush)". Btw, you can get his CD on amazon.com.
Mike Barry - A 25 year Port Authority officer and detective. They lost 37 people on 9/11. He told the story of how his partner Kurt died that day and when they found his body in March, he was still hunched over the woman he was trying to protect.
We don't want to find terrorists here, we want to do it there in their territory. When he read about Moms4Bush it motivated him to become a part of it. Kerry is on the wrong side of all the law enforcement issues.
muhamed atta was able to escape scrutiny because of the walls that were placed between all of the different government investigative agencies like the CIA, FBI, & Justice Department.
muhamed atta was let go because of the wall memo. Because of this of Gorlick instruction, the CIA could not give his information to the law enforcement and ordinary police officers could skip across from one data bank to another because of these defining walls. When a state trooper stopped atta for speeding on 9/10, they checked his driver license and even if there was a hint of suspicion they couldn't skip into other Intelligence databases. So he was given a speeding fine. He was courteous and the trooper let him leave. Two days later that car was found in the parking lot at the Maine airport with that traffic ticket in the glove box. That was 9/12.
The HR218 Bill was passed that allows cops to wear/carry guns anywhere in the USA. The companion bill to this was S-250. Did you know that Kerry has missd voting on all bills except this one. For this bill he made a special trip to vote against it.
Did you know that Kerry was never at ground zero. President Bush was told that they couldn't gaurantee his safety but he went anyway (Btw, Kerry has never visited a hospital where veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraqi wars have been treated).
Bill Thompson - From the NJ Christian Coalition and is a Marine Vietnam Veteran of two tours. He has traveled around the country to register new conservative people. The Pastors at the churches are very important. Our country is like a 3-legged stool. God, Patriotism to our country, and family. Kerry has attacked all three.
The ACLU doesn't want to debate him anymore. When he decided to join his mentor told him, if you want to get involved then be prepared to fight. We don't want someone who will run at the first boo. And he's been fighting for 20 years.
When Kerry said he's for traditional values, it's because it was him and the Christian Coalition that managed to get a bill passed in Massachusetts.
Bill believes that this election is personal and not political. Kerry has no concept for what it takes to be President. They talk about Bush praying to god. I rather a man prays to god to get answers than he goes to the DNC for a decision. They don't talk about Presidnet Bush visiting the troops when they come back from Iraq and what he says to them. He hugs them and prays with them.
Michael 'AJ Sparxx' Illions - Executive director of the Pro-Wrestling Republican Coalition. Kerry tried to affect the Australian elections. He dispatched his sister to run anti-American ads.
Rich Rossillo - Director of gopusa.com. Currently has 1.5 million members. He wants people to become activists. Our culture and values are under seige. We must speak out at the grass roots level. Mentioned numbersusa.com. (note: A flyer was given out about numbersusa.com. A non-profit non-partisan organization that seeks to reduce legal and illegal immigration to more traditional numerical levels and to carry out immigration reduction recommendations from two national commisions of the 1990s.)
Steve Rossillo - Spoke about immigration reform. He's a history teacher and in sales. Had a picture of Muhamad Atta's drivers license blown up so everyone can see it. The 11 hijackers came in to America via student visas.

Sounds like a great event, to be followed up by a Presidential visit today. :-)
and you know, we really need to figure out how to find each other at this rallies. I know Coelus and Laserlock and they introduced me to Linda Sobers, I didnt know who Second amendment sis or zommie81 was. I ran into an old friend from HS and we were so happy to meet each other and glad we were on the same side. She is an English teacher, no less, and is married to one of the Rossillo's that spoke above. Don't forget, in attendance, we also my girls, playing in the back with the self anointed babysitter and future fellow Freepers. They had a great time!
Yep, there was 3 men and 3 women representing and they were signing autographs. Stupid me didn't initially notice the very obvious gold plated belt in front of the table and I thought they were from the Young College Repulbicnas, at first.
