.........

As a result, with early voting taking place in busy public places like City Halls and libraries, voters are voicing complaints of being blocked by political mobs, or being singled out for their political views. Others say they have been grabbed, screamed at and cursed by political partisans of all stripes.

Republican Rep. Tom Feeney of Oviedo said the antagonizers are "Kerry thugs" out to harass Bush voters.

"If you ask me whether I believe there is an organized effort to intimidate Republican voters, the answer is absolutely yes," said Feeney.

................

According to the affidavits Fletcher released:

One woman who voted early in Boca Raton, at the Southwest County Regional Library, complained that as she stood in line, two men behind her were "trashing our president," Fletcher said, declining to identify the woman. She tried to ignore them. Then the man touched her arm and said, "Who are you voting for?"

"I said, `I don't think that's an appropriate question,'" the woman said she responded.

"Uh oh! We have a Bush supporter here," screamed the man behind her.

For the 2 1/2 hours she had to wait in line, she was heckled by the man. As they neared the voting room, someone in the rear of the line yelled, "I sure hope everyone here is voting for Kerry!" she reported.

That's when the man behind her held his hand over her head and screamed, "We have a Republican right here!" There were "boos and jeers" from the crowd.

"I felt intimidated, harassed and threatened!" the woman wrote in her complaint to the Republican Party.

"Governor Bush needs to call out the National Guard to protect voters.

Excellent idea, Jacvin. Please post a thread urging people to do so!

Why shoulnd't we just throw our hands up in the air and shout uncle? Doing this is doing nothing more than following the lead of the GOP in the legislature. President Bush/Vice President Cheney are the only Republicans that I have seen with any form of intestinal fortitude since Gingrich's "Deal with America". I am told by my republican friends that this is because we always win on principle. I think it is kind of hard to win on principle when the deck is stacked against you from the Legislature through to the Judicial on down. Nothing will be done in the end regarding the voting fraud.

5) Get on the cell phone and call the largest Republican male you know who will come to the polling place and beat the thug until he is senseless.

Then what? Then the city will have to defend itself in court for disenfranchising two voters. The arresting cops will be reprimanded for violation of these two poor induviduals "constitutional rights". The case would be thrown out of court after spending a few million on court fees and probably a stiff fine going to the cops and these two union communists will walk away rich men.

See #216 (and about thirty or forty identical postings throughout, as well). If they aren't taking even the most basic, kiddie-simple steps in response -- e.g.., calling the cops on their cell phone; call out for a nearby poll watcher; scream; draw attention; ANYthing to bring the bright, hot light of public censure and/or retaliation upon the leftist cockroaches in question -- then they ARE, in fact, "putting up with it."

Whoever it was who assured you the 'Rats were going to respect our G-d-given rights this year, and play fairly, did you an evident disservice. That's unfortunate... but: not my fault, and not my responsibility to bring you up to speed on the matter, either. And that IS the "main point" to be "grasped"... "dude."

Well truth be told that is my first choice. I just didn't have the time today to get flamed over saying it. At 6'2", 240#, and being mean as hell, I wish I was in a swing state. The dims here in Tom DeLays district of Texas limit themselves to stealing old peoples signs in the middle of the night.

Also .. wear a t-shirt with the picture of Bush in his flight suit .... it really ticks off the rats :0)

That's electioneering. A no-no in all jurisdictions.
I am not for being intimidated, but I am not for triggering nutcases either.

In China, at the beginnings of the cultural revolution, students used to wait at the train station. If a women would show up with a fancy hairdoo, the students would block her from boarding the train until she cut her hair. They did not think it was right that she should have such hair.

What is any different between this and the tactics of slashing tires on SUV's or these intimidation tactic the women in this story endured? Sure wish I had been in that line with that women. They would have been reporting not just about intimidation but about a fight that had broken out. I would have been in that guys face much more than he would have wanted to see.

Bastards like these need to have the snot beat out of them. I pray someone tries this crap when I go to vote. I'll vote first, then I'll make sure he can only crawl to the voting booth.

I'm taking my parents today, and will record any harassment. However, I don't think that will be a problem for my Vietnam Vet father.... 8-) unless it's a problem for outing the imposter. 8-)

Governor Bush needs to call out the National Guard to protect voters.

I Agree!

America looks like a Third World County when it comes to voting in an election these days.

However, most of the National Guard are working in Iraq.

It's time to call out the Minute Men Militia and that is you and me to protect our cause and each other.

Work together!

A pack of Chihuahua's: tougher than your average group of Democrats.
