Just had to share this with fellow freepers. It is a day that I never thought would come. I just received a phone call from my friend Lisa down in Naples (Florida), and she has been VERY anti-Bush for the last 2 years. The usual talking points...for the rich...war for oil...no wmd's...michael moore facts etc.
Well guess what?
She just called me to tell me that she is early voting tomorrow with her mother and sister for President Bush.
Why the change of heart?
Partial Birth Abortion and Abortion. They apparently went to church today and there was a speaker in church on the horror of partial birth abortion. Come to find out that after church when the discussion came to politics and discovering that Kerry voted against the ban...partisan politics were put aside and they are voting their conscience and soul for W.
This is so huge you have no idea. These are 3 hispanic women 2 of which are divorced/widowed women. They have kids...they worry about security and family issues here at home. They believe that Bush is in office to protect them and their kids.
I can't begin to express how important this is. This family has voted in the past for Clinton 2 times and Gore the last time. They were a sure vote for Kerry imo as of last month.
Things are changing out there..people are getting the big picture.
And that picture is...John Kerry just lost 3 Catholic/Hispanic/Female votes in the state of Florida.
Great news. The moral of the story is that if people will get some facts they can not in good conscience vote for Kerry.
muy bueno......VIVA BUSH !
Bump to that
Thank the Lord for it! I'm very happy for them. (and for you!)
If Kerry's voting record (AHEM! MSM!) was more well-known, we probably would be seeing a lot more of this.
Look for the democrats to attempt to have that church's tax exempt status revoked.
Thanks for sharing it. This is great news.
It was a missionary nun believe it or not who does some sort of faith healing who was speaking.
Thank you for this note of hope. It gets so discouraging to watch the dirty politics of the Rats and fear they might pull off a "theft" on election day. With more people like your friends however, perhaps we can avoid such a disaster.
Say hallelujah - can I get a witness??!!
I think there are many like them. My brother and his wife being some.
The fraud I worry about in Florida exists in not just Palm Beach and Dade county...but on the college campuses statewide...especially UCF and FAU.
And may all the priests who didn't have the courage to make a moral stand in this election on abortion when God gave them the opportunity, spend eternity in hellfire.
Hooray !.......:o)
PRAISE GOD!
THANKS FOR THIS ENCOURAGING NEWS!
I know many Catholics who have traditionally voted Democrat will be voting Republican over this issue along with same-sex marriage. Viva Bush!!
That is just wonderful. This has to be a good omen.
Here is my election vanity. My husband has been rolling across American with W'04 Keep American Rolling & Proud Vietnam Veteran Against Kerry stickers on his Peterbilt. He fully expected some angry responses - maybe damage to his truck, or business hassles - but just the opposite has occurred.
Everywhere he has gone, he gets thumbs up. People walk up to him & tell him they share his point of view. He has met many wonderful people & has had great unexpected discussions over meals with like minded people. Only a couple of black men (very nice, but definitely Dem Kool Aid drinkers) in Jackson, Miss have ragged him a little.
He's even handed out a couple stickers along the way. Truckers are definitely for Bush; but even better, it seems as though the people loading & servicing trucks, handing out the paperwork, etc are also either for Bush or not motivated to argue.
Yeah she didn't even bring up gay marriage.
