"...talked with #1 son..."

Same here, (well is E-mail considered talking?)! These Troops are not appreciative of what the Democrats are doing at all. Kerry is killing any loyalty among the Troops that he might be able to obtain somehow.

The democrats will immediately start crying that the president didn't have control of the situation, however there's a problem with that claim.

Everybody knows that wars are best fought from the battlefield. John Kerry will basically be saying that war should be fought from the white house. (LBJ all over again)

For the first time this week, Kerry didn't mention the missing weapons in his speech today.

I hope that's true -- the most insightful post on the whole thread.

Bush should point out that Kerry has chosen the New York Times and CBS; he'll choose to believe our military.

I see only 10 reporters.

A very telling observation!

We're standing by for the briefing here in Iraq. We've got it on CNN Gag Me International (we don't have many choices), so we're already prepared for lots and lots of spin.

It not only takes time to get every "t" crossed and "i" dotted, but it might also be nice to give Kerry "enough rope." ;)

"I just do not understand why the heck he fought in Vietnam then...he is such a traitor and seeks to exploit America."

He, like Bill Clinton traveling to the Soviet Communist Union (Moscow), started calculating and caniving and covorting with World Communists a long time ago. Calculation.

"Why can't more Americans see right through him?"

Self-centered, morally bankrupt, irresponsible, elitists with vested interests and freeloaders...there's a start anyway.

He wont have much time to talk about between now and election day because he's gonna be too busy wiping the egg off his face :-)

not monday morning,Bush is careful and deliberate and he wanted Kerry to have plenty of rope. Now it is time to tighten the noose!! Tuesday the trap door opens!!

Every time I hear a hanging analogy, I think of Clint Eastwood's old movie "Hang em High", where Pat Hingle sits in the window, looking forlorn, and sadly nods his head, which was the signal for the executioner to pull the pin.

Can anyone put up pictures of this? It's beyond my capacity...
