When my brother returned from their last meetings, he said to "wait and see", "can't say anything else right now". It is merely stating the date of the DD 214 that is being corrected.
Secondly the DD 214 dated 03-01-70 isn't a discharge from service but a release from Active Duty and an assignment to the Ready Reserves Inactive.
