CBS News ^ | 10/31/04 | CBS

In a CBS News/New York Times poll out Sunday, President Bush has the support of 49 percent of likely voters to 46 percent for John Kerry.

Forty-nine percent of likely voters think Mr. Bush will win, to 33 percent who bet on Kerry. More voters see the president as strong, a man in tune with their priorities, someone who says what he thinks. Fifty-five percent approve of the president's handling of the war on terrorism....

Why is it that every poll with Bush ahead means it's "uncertain" or a "toss up"? Sheeesh. This election has completely exposed the MSM's liberal bias. It will be sooooo good to think about all the whiny crybabies moaning about another 4 years of Bush on Tuesday.

You know what's sad? That countless Democrats, and most specifically Kerry and his weasels, are praying for a terrorist attack here in the us or horrible news to come out of Iraq. And these are the people that over 40% of the nation supports? Dare I say treason!

THE story that
ABC, AP, CBS, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, NBC, NY Times
DON'T WANT AMERICA TO KNOW!

John Kerry's Discharge
He won't sign Form 180
What is he hiding?

"There is overwhelming evidence that the Navy gave John Kerry either a dishonorable discharge
or an undesirable discharge – which is the equivalent of a dishonorable discharge
without the felony conviction – and that, as a result of such discharge,
he was stripped of all of his famous but questionable Navy awards and medals.

And the kicker? The evidence is on his website!"

http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=41200

BUT
ABC, AP, CBS, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, NBC, NY Times
made sure you knew about the "Bush" documents.

Q) Why did
ABC, AP, CBS, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, NBC, NY Times
NOT ask Kerry about why he wouldn't sign Form 180?

A) Because they are AFRAID of the REAL story!

Don't let ABC, AP, CBS, CNN, FOX, NBC
try to "give" the election to Kerry
like they did Gore in FL

These people at CBS are really something. Go read the link.
They talk about everybody else's polling results that show the race closer, or tied. Never mind their own poll showing Bush up, lets talk about the Zogby poll...
What twaddle!!!!!!!

"Three polls that came out today, had Kerry at 48%, or at least two."
That is Al Zogboid again. He is a sadly confused man. :) Plus Hanoi John Kerry can't even hit 50%. Bush has already in several polls. Hanoi John is finished.

Flukish individual days drag Bush down in the tracking polls, such as Friday night when millions of family men were at high school football games.

With the projected turnout so much higher, really all these polls have a higher margin of error than usual. We are in uncharted territory. Nobody knows who will really show up at the polls. Will it be young airbrain gals who think Bush is retro, or Christian fundmentalists who think any nexus with the public square is a sin, or well, who knows? What will the black turnout be for the Mass ice man, who seems to toy with gay marriage? Just how many Muslim voters are there, who will lash out at Bush? Will Bush get 24% or 29% of the Jewish vote? A certain modesty in predictions is in order here.

Forty-nine percent of likely voters think Mr. Bush will win, to 33 percent who bet on Kerry.

What is this, a poll of gamblers?

I looked at the poll on the CBS site (shudder) and it is a poll of likely voters. So why do they phrase it as to who they "think" will win?

CBS are crap, crap, crap! They can't even report on their own poll in a straight forward and honest manner. They try to be clever all the time. They are annoying.

Statistically, it is harder to reach Repubs at home in order to poll them on the weekends. Sunday is a no-brainer because Repubs are more likely to be church-goers. As to Fri evening and Saturdays, my only guess is that Dims stay home 'cause they are unemployed and don't have any money .. ;-) Thus polls trend higher on weekends for sKerry and Bush recovers during the week.

Here's the downside of this report:

"Matthew Dowd, the president's chief pollster, in an e-mail response to CBSNews.com, says the Bush-Cheney campaign's internal polls also indicate the president is up by three points, 'and that is what we think it will end up on Election Day.'"

What in the world is Matthew Dowd doing saying there is only a 3% edge? I doubt that he even said this, coming from seeBS.

Too late for any meaningful national polls, go to the battleground state polls to pick a winner. The poll with the best historical record in the state races is Mason-Dixon. Go to their web site, read the polls for battleground states and go to bed to sleep sound. It's in the bag.
Bush by 300 to 320 in the final electoral vote count. Guaranteed.

If that's a CBS poll, you can at least double the spread!

They probably polled 75% Democrats!
