I'm pretty sure the Argus is one of the papers who FR says you aren't supposed to link to, lawsuit-wise. But since ours aren't hyperlinked it's probably okay.

Dasshole is truly pond scum. He had ads of him with President Bush, but everybody knows that if he wins he's going to go right back to the obstructing and Rat tactics that made him infamous. Frankly I'm not surprised by this latest move.

If the Judge was picked or nominated by Daschle, he needs to recuse himself. Secondly, the Republicans should have enough evidence to convince a Judge that massive fraud was perpetrated in the last election. Other than that, what else do we expect from the Fraudocrats?

Linking is just fine...I provided one. I think some people confuse linking with posting the entire article. Even the LA Times allows excerpting...they just want the website hits.
This sentence really chaps my hise.
"The Daschle-Thune election should be a fair one," the lawsuit reads. "The conduct of Republican Thune supporters will make it an unfair one, unless restrained by this court

The same kind of judge that kept Nader off the ballot in state after state in order to help Kerry despite the fact that his people jumped through all the hoops required. Sooner or later, the dirty little problem with our judges is really going to have to be dealt with, but I guess we'll have to save that war for another day. For now, surely the GOP is on the scene and ready to fight this one all the way.

The hearing will be before Federal Judge Larry Piersol who was appointed by Daschle to federal court and served as Daschles personal legal counsel in 1978.This Judge MUST recuse himself since he was d'Assole's personal lawyer. The Dems are brazenly fraudulent.

http://www.neoperspectives.com/NativeAmericans.htm
an interesting link.
I am a poll watcher in NC. It is completely ridiculous to suggest poll watchers intimidate voters. At the meeting where I was at we were told NEVER to talk to any voters becasue the Democrats will attempt to claim intimidation or what have you. If we see improprieties we go to the head judge of that polling area and tell him/her. If they dont take action then we are to call the Republican hotline and they will send someone or tell us what the next step should be. There was not even a mention of intimidation and no one at the meeting even had such a thought cross their minds. Everyone was there was honest and wanted to keep the eleciton fair. There was also talk about war stories in which democrats would try to cheat, either individually or, more dangerously, on the macro level.
In fact, they said most honest poll judges, democrat and republican, WELCOME party poll watchers because that way there are more eyes and ears there that see that NOTHING is going on. In other words, if someone brings a charge against the center they have 2 rep and 2 dem poll watchers who can testify that nothng illegal happened.

If this judge even hears the case, much less sides with Tiny Tommie, he needs to be the subject of a federal ethics complaint. In my opinion, it would be unethical for him to hear the case since he owes his job to Tiny Tommie.

Agreed. I can't believe that this judge will be stupid enough to hear the matter. He may, however, arrange for another judge to come in and find for Tiny Tommie.
If I were hearing the case, I wouldn't hear it. The case was not brought in a timely manner and we ain't having no 8:00 p.m. hearings!

Honest amen to the comments, however, nationally, the media has so distorted the entire honest poll watching and legal measures taken by poll workers and watchers of both parties, to insure honest open and spotlessly clean elections, that they (the national mainstream media) should be taken to the woodshed. What a mess they make doing the bidding of folks whose wish it is to destroy every vestige of normalcy, every tradition, for what?

From this web site:
http://southdakotapolitics.blogs.com/south_dakota_politics/2004/week45/index.html#a0002604207
It says: "The Pennington County Auditor was informed earlier today that Daschle lawyers will seek to ban the counting of legitimate absentee ballot requests in Pennington County tomorrow, Election Day, morning."
So I looked up the 2002 election results for Pennington County and it gives: Thune 21,790 and Johnson 13,732. No wonder Daschle wanted to block absentee ballots in this county.
I absolutely cannot believe this. I'm stunned.
