What we'd like to see as a result of Bush's second term

Here are some possible wishlist items for Bush's second term and what we might expect in 2008:

1) The US should withdraw from the UN and stop generously paying 80% of the cost to run it. It is obvious that the UN is a completely corrupt organization as exemplified by the dishonesty of most of the UN opposition countries during the Iraq inspections. As Democrats know, but probably chose to ignore, France, Germany, and Russia all were getting huge oil bribes from Saddam to influence them to vote against removal of Saddam. Russia was helping Iraq get rid of weapons shortly before the invasion.

We also all know that France supplied Iraq with nuclear technology before Israel thankfully blew up their reactor in 1981. France also was supplying Iraq with weapons & land mines in the days & weeks prior to the US invasion of Iraq. Many of the land mines that blew up some of our soldiers and Iraqi children had French labels on them. Are these people our friends? To hell with the French. Of course these countries were not objective!! They had HUGE conflicts of interest. Money money money and greed! In any rational court system, if someone has a conflict of interest, they are not allowed to serve as a juror, but not in the UN. Think about it! When the U.S. realized it had a corrupt jury, we went alone into Iraq and rightfully so. When the U.S. resigns, they should present a laundry list of UN Corruption and state that it will return if they clean up their act. New UN office shall be in Sudan where they can study real human rights violations.

2) In the second term, Bush may very well be vindicated with respect to the WMD in Iraq isssue as the story develops, but this would occur long after the damage from the Michael Moores of the world was done.

It is shameful that the Limosine Liberals made such a sneaky claim that "Bush lied" about WMD in Iraq. He didn't lie if he believed there were WMD in Iraq. A lie involves intent to deceive.

The idiots who believed Michael Moore's dishonest propaganda movie have been hoodwinked into believing Bush lied, but by all accounts, he didn't. Even John Kerry and Bill Clinton are on record stating that Saddam had WMD. Saddam had used WMD already on his own people and on Iran. He attacked Kuwait. What more do people need to know? His WMD most likely went to Syria. History will probably show the CIA probably had correct information at one time (and note that the other countries including France also believed Saddam had WMD). So how did Bush lie?

Unfortunately, the average Double-Latte Liberal doesn't question their own news media in which 90% of journalists are Democrytes. If the media spoon-feeds them some tripe about Bush lying, they'll take it at face value like automatons. The irony of this is that the Democrats take pride in their ability to scrutinize the status quo, but the status quo is their liberal media.

3) Tax Reform: As a lame duck President, Bush has a good chance of pushing through major tax reform. Let's hope so.

4) In 2008, it would be great to see Condoleeza Rice against the Hildebeast. This will come after Condi replaces Powell in the more high-profile role as Sec of State in the second term and shines like a star in international negotiations.

Condi Rice is superbly qualified to be President. In addition to her excellent qualifications, the conservatives would not only have a woman candidate, but a black and also a minority. This would be a true Trojan horse that would appeal to minorities whose vote is more influenced by the skin color of a candidate than the "content of their character" (and in that sense they're indeed racist to the core).

Anyhow, thankfully the election is over and we can get back to the business of killing people and stealing oil, which is what the world thinks we like to do (add sarcasm in case you didn't notice).

Regarding #3, making tax cuts permanent needs to be the absolute top domestic priority. Playing around with Social Security, or any of his other little gimmicks, can take a back seat. We need to insist upon this.

With all due respect I think you are reading it all wrong about Condi Rice. I live in one of the most heavily black areas of the country and I don't believe the blacks would vote for her, I think they would brand her an "Aunt Thomasina" and call her an "Oreo". Also, I don't think the women of America really want a female President. Also, there are a lot of people who like to brag about how color blind they are but when it comes down to the wire they only talk the talk. I think Condi would be soundly defeated by almost any halfway credible Democrat.

Thank you for the correction. I had heard that but hadn't verified it. The quote often stated is that the US funds the most of any other country and that happens to be 22% of the total budget, which is substantial.

Here's some interesting reading on the subject of withholding funding in exchange for a more ethical U.N.:

I would love to see this administration and President Bush destroy the liberal elitists in the mainstream media.

An Executive Order, if that's what it takes to remove voter fraud from the election equation. I would suggest 1) limiting voter registration to the DMV and county registrar's office 2) manditory photo ID when voting 3) Inking the thumbs of people who have voted.

They should eliminate at least one government entitlement program. Any bets they will?

The UN is 99% BS, but the other 1% serves a useful function. It is a forum for nations to blow off steam, seem important, and once in awhile, actually debate instead of sending troops to settle arguments.

If the UN didn't exist, we'd probably want to invent it for that purpose alone.

None of what I just said justifies the other 99%.

6) Restructure social security...privatising the investment.

Our goal should be the elimination of Social Security. "Privatizing" it while keeping it mandatory will only complicate it further.

Step by step. Privatize it first...then it will be easier to eliminate.

The UN was doing everything it could to defeat Bush. The sooner they are gone, the better. What are they going to do, invade us? I say give them $50 billion to leave. I've had bad tenants before on my property and followed my lawyer's advice, which was not to sue them.........but pay them to leave. It's cheaper in the end.
