i thought it was spot-on.

It's the same as the liberals want for us. Do you really want to sink to their level of Stalinist ideological conformity-or-death?

I've heard of suicide bombers, but a suicide shotgunner?

How many people did he plan on killing?

What a dumb terrorist!

56,158,907 to go.

At least he went to the place where the Bullhorn Doctrine was announced.

I couldn't kill myself when Clinton was re-elected because I couldn't find anyplace where he was great.

It is really sad. A perfect example of liberalism bordering on mental illness.

No loss here.

For what it's worth, when I saw the headline, I figured someone who had lost a spouse in the 9/11 attacks had sunk into a terrible depression and decided to go 'join' their lost loved one.

That's what I had thought when I read the headine, as well.

If Bush's win is really the reason for the suicide, then, as tragic as that is, it's fortunate that he didn't try to hurt our President instead. I truly fear that. So much hate out there. President Bush is always in my prayers.

No note so of course blame the President. Sheesh.

No suicide note was found, he said. Veal apparently was distraught over President Bush's (search) re-election, Newsday reported Saturday on its Web site edition, citing an unnamed police source.

Veal apparently was distraught over President Bush's (search) re-election, Newsday reported Saturday on its Web site edition, citing an unnamed police source. The newspaper also said the man was a registered Democrat who opposed the war in Iraq.

I wish I could believe this story, but then I read this, Coleman said he could not confirm Newsday's account.

Darn.

Thanks very much. I have indeed had too many of those around me.

Honestly I never knew my mother-in-law very well, but my wife is still dealing with it, and always will be.

Well he was true to his belief that handguns are evil. He killed himself with a shotgun.
