On the Gunny Bob Newman show and the Donna Star show here in Denver on KOA 850am tonight they have been talking about Denver mayor Hickenlooper's decision to ban the words 'Merry Christmas' from the traditional Parade of Lights downtown parade as well as any 'Christmas' float.
Great News!

GunnyBob,
What a pleasure to meet you online. I don't get to listen to your show at work, :-(, because the streaming doesn't work thru the firewall. But the few times I have listed to you, I have been so impressed.
One night, driving home (it is across the street from work), I got to hear you at the Marine ball. Those few minutes were so impressive.
Exactly. I'm SOOOOO tired of hearing people say "Christmas is dead!" Sheeee-it, if we're too feeble to put a few obnoxious loudmouths in their place -- well, we're not. A girlie man could do it with a little forethought.
The founders said what needed to be said about worship in this country. And it involved God.
I'm sure that the city gets Christmas Day off to. Make the city council have a meeting and open all city government offices.
BOYCOTT DENVER!
Thanks for the update, and hats off to Gunny Bob!
And a VERY Merry Christmas to you!
