Actually I think that a black market nuke detonating anywhere in this country will get the arab midlle east turned into a slag of glass. The geeks at the UN would literally drop a load in their pants the instant that word arrived that a nuke had flattened Washington D.C. also the folks over at the HAMAS front group CAIR would find themselves seriously running for their lives as would any campus douche bag that tried running on at the mouth about how evil the USA was & that it got what it had coming.

I could site a number of similar instances in the public sector in the United States. As a high-ticket computer sales guy, this was a technique emphasized to us by sales consultants brought in from outside the company. The basic idea was to get the customer ot take "ownership" of the objective you wanted to obtain.

I have always seen it as overcoming the "not invented here" syndrome.

Your technique has some twists that we couldn't use - ie: that your superior approved of "his" ideas. We basically would help the customer to get his "idea invented here" accepted up the ladder in his own organization.

As any rate - its results that counts.....what ever it takes.

That's a great, detailed explanation of the mechanics, but I have a more concise version of the core reason they don't do well in wars:

I think that even their hit and run tactics are lacking in imagination. I like to read history and the Apache Indians, for one example could hit and run without losing a man. The Viet Cong were able to set up very clever ambushes with deadly results, and again sometimes not lose people. I think that there must indeed be a cultural reason to explain the martyr complex that the Arabs have. They kill enough people as it is, so whatever the reason, I am very thankful that their tactics suck.

Arabs lose wars because even after all these years they haven't figured out how to make a viable ICBM out of a suicide bomber. They can strap the warhead and the rocket pack on him, but after that it all starts going horribly wrong...
