Keep in prayer for the Vietnam Human Rights Bill. It is presently in the Senate after passing by a wide margin in the House.
If you have any doubt about whether the Bill should pass, take a look at the picture below of an actual re-education camp in Vietnam provided by the Montagnard Foundation. Re-education camps are where believers are typically sent.
Stay tuned as we will post a picture per day over the next 4 days.

Foreigners are now being allowed to buy houses (and land?) in Vietnam. Vietnam is very much capitalist at this point. I checked the CIA Fact Book, Vietnam is still listed as a communist state. If you buy property from a communist, you are merely renting it. Vietnam may be moving to a fascist state with a market economy, but that remains to be seen.

Yes Ronnie, it DOES sound like the SOS... er... 'more of the same' to me too. Thanks for the ping to that second thread. http://www.Freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1877997/posts
You've got to wonder, don't you, who will 'pardon' this NEW liar's treason. Thanks to Jimmy Carter, the old one, of course, never had to take responsibility for his actions either. (...and I don't recall hearing that '180' ever showed up either, did it?)
BSNS EXCLUSIVE: |
Kerry enlists High-Powered Aide in an attempt to cleanse his image |
|
BOSTON, MA (BSNS) -- Running hard to catch up, in the run-up to the 2008 Presidential Election, Massachusetts Senator John F. Kerry (...The Loser in 2004, to President George W. Bush) has once again made changes to his struggling campaign team, according to recent, as-yet-unconfirmed, reports. Undisclosed sources revealed early this week that Kerry has recently added a Scottish noblewoman to his staff. Her primary duties are said to be to clean up Kerry's seriously-besmirched image with still-angry Vietnam Era Veterans, and others with long memories, who have long been suspicious of Kerry's bona fides, amid persistent rumors of his 'aid-and-comfort to the (Vietcong/NVA) enemy', his apparent 'refusal to release his disputed military records', and his on-going 'lack of support for the military' in general. Reportedly, Kerry's new staffer, M. Macbeth, has a great deal of prior experience with stain-removal, having been unsuccessful in only ONE prior occasion, during a long and otherwise-unblemished career. In a recent interview M. Macbeth discounted that particular failure, saying, "As everyone already knows, THAT one time involved a highly unusual situation, and one particularly DIFFICULT stain." Some experienced observers say she is likely to find THIS project no less daunting.

Indeed. Thanks for the ping!

At the opening of the news conference, Mr. Kerry called on President Nixon to publicly set a date for withdrawal of all American troops from Vietnam so that prisoners of war could come home.
That sounds familiar.

Looks like some folks in the media may finally be getting it out there..?
In tonight’s ‘Victory or Retreat: The Surge and Politics’ TV Special on the FoX News Channel...
...Reporter DAVID ASMAN is now openly reporting that the Vietnam War was not lost by us,
...but by the South Vietnamese after Congress had cut off all our funding for them to fight for their own Freedom with.
Something they are still suffering greatly from.

Ronnie, IIRC, David Asman has a son serving today in the USMC. I watched the program, it was excellent.
