Sure they will. Never seen any indication that Superbowl ratings are more than minorly impacted by the teams playing. There's a large chunk of American society that simply watches the Superbowl, it's the day non-football fans watch football. An all PA Superbowl shouldn't have any less national interest than an all CA Superbowl (Niners-Chargers) or an all Corridore Superbowl (Giants-Raven).

Go Home Vikes, you guys should've stayed in bed. Terry Bradshaw says you have NO chance: "The Eagles win easily."

Well, they looked good the 1st half at least. I thought the Falcons might get lazy and overconfident but they never did. They must want it pretty bad.

The Falcons are the only other real contender IMO, other than the Colts and Pats. But anything can happen in the playoffs.

LOL. Yes, you really are in denial. Had the Pack won, they would have played in Atlanta last night.

Wow! This could be a good idea. Get a bunch of NE Freepers together if we make it to the super bowl.

Why, with little confidence in their kicker, did not San Diego go for two in regulation???

I think they still had confidence in him at that point. You don't go for broke like that at home. You figure with home field advantage, it's the other team that has to take risks like that.

How does Minny deal with the Philly blitz packages?

Answer: the Vikes use a moving pocket.

Philly giving 8 - that's a tough one. Both teams are flawed. Guess it will come down to turnovers and mistakes, which should keep it close. -> take the points

Pats giving only 1.5 to Colts!? - the defending SB champs, at home in frigid winter weather, against a team many (even here) consider "soft". Sounds like a lot of money has made it to the Colts side. Wonder if it's smart money? Ball control is more important in bad weather, and Pats will feel the pressure of pre-game hype to lose outright. -> take the points

My Dolphins, too. Sigh. Oh, well. Look at the bright side, they have the #2 pick in the next draft. Hopefully, they can get themselves a future Hall of Fame QB, following in the footsteps of Bob Griese and (in a couple weeks, to make it official) Dan Marino. The QBs they have now don't impress me at all, though I think they should have given Sage Rosenfelds more of a shot after it became apparent that the season was lost.

Latest weather for Colts fans - snow storm is building up. Should be snowy and 26 in Foxboro during most of the game. Conditions will get worse as snowfall increases, temps drop and winds increase as the game goes along.

We won't be able to use our extra-special teams anymore thanks to Miami. - Tom

Yes. And professional offensive coordinators are paid to put players in a position to make plays, not set them up for failure. If the Jets had gotten 1 more yard (actually about 6 more inches) the 47 yarder is good. And that kneel down which lost them 2 yard for the sole purpose of burning 2 seconds on the clock to make sure the Steelers couldn't have a kickoff return was just idiotic, adding two more yards to the kick on a field that is nasty to kickers was dumb. No matter where you are 40+ yard FGs are NOT easy, not garaunteed, and shouldn't be counted on. He's a fieldgoal kicker, not God, there are limitations to his power. The funniest part is that Shott made almost the exact same stupid mistake last week which gave the Jets their chance to win, somebody on the Jets sideline should have pointed out that they were calling plays like Shottenheimer and maybe that wasn't a good idea.

My prediction... Min 34 Phi 20, Ind 33 NE 31

I respect NE but I don't see how they stop the pass even in the cold, though that helps a lot.

Yes, the Eagles will choke, but they wait until the NFC Champ game to do so. They will roll today. And, no, Reid didn't flub with his starters. The Eagles will come out sharp and be up 14-0 before the Vikings know what hit them.
