The ads are interesting. I wonder if there are any parties running on an Anti-American agenda, and running anti-American ads? Is their any censorship?

Those are powerful, straightforward and well done. I defy any one who sees them to continue to assert that the US is there for the OIL.

Billboard in Baghdad...

Mon Jan 24, 4:11 AM ET

A huge poster showing the image of al-Qaeda's frontman in Iraq Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and a burning car with a caption that reads: 'This what Zarqawi is doing in Iraq for our beloved ones now and in the future,' is seen in one of Baghdad's streets. Al-Zarqawi, declared war on next week's elections which he said were aimed at bringing the country under Shiite control, in an audiotape posted on an Islamist website.(AFP/Ali al-Saadi)

You're absolutely right!

This is what we should be seeing on our televisions and newspapers -- rather than crap celebrities/journalists with nothing to say, trying to convince everybody else that their lives should be as vapid and vain as theirs.

We want to see real people making a difference in the world and not these false idols with no qualifications other than to put makeup on themselves, pontificating on every subject just because they like hearing themselves talk, as though everybody thinks they are the most fascinating person in the world.

Bulletin! It ain't so.

Isn't there an Arabic word for "Doctor?"

The arabic word is "Tabib". Iyad actually says it in his ad where he speaks using the classical (written) arabic language.

That political advertisement essentially encapsulates what this election is all about.

A choice between continued captivity, or freedom from the fear that has enchained that nation for the better part of six decades.

I'm awestruck at what's happening over there. It's an exciting time to be alive.

Thank you President Bush for your moral conviction and for the courage you have to fulfill this profound vision.

Thank you American Armed Forces for your sacrifice and valor. No other group of fighting and women in history could accomplish what you are accomplishing today, and history will no doubt remember your achievement.

Thank you Ted Kennedy, Howard Dean, Barbara Boxer et al for showing us that democracy has the resilience to withstand even the most subversive and treasonous forces raised against it.
