"This bee-otch..."

I'll have to remember that. I only used 'lady' because I didn't know to express my disgust in an acceptable manner...thanks.

"For an organization [like PFLAG] to spend their time and money promoting untruth and lies against about gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders is a deplorable situation. Our children are perfectly fine the way they are" said Sue Null, an advocacy chairwoman with PFLAG says almost every single parent in the United States.

There, that's TRUTHFUL.

"The billboards, however, have drawn the ire of Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays of Houston."

Who do these people think they are? So what if they don't like it. I see a lot of things I don't like, on billboards, on television and lots of other places. I deal with it! What these people don't like is having anything pricking what's left of their consciences.

"Null, the mother of a gay son and lesbian daughter..."

That strikes me a humorous--"Null" is an understatement.

The advertisements, which depict either a smiling man or woman, bear the message, "I questioned homosexuality. Change is Possible. Discover how."

First person account ... can't argue with that. What's the offense?

"For an organization to spend their time and money promoting untruth and lies against gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders is a deplorable situation. Our children are perfectly fine the way they are," said Sue Null, an advocacy chairwoman with PFLAG.

If your children are fine, why should this message bother you? Your children aren't the ones asking the questions. The children who are asking the questions deserve to know there are answers.

What bothers you so much, Suzie? Are you afraid they might ask the questions?

Shalom.

Focus on the Family makes no such claim. I don't know if the Houston Chronicle got it wrong or if the PFLAG spokeswoman did, but this is misinformation, especially in light of the accusations of "lies" and "myths."

I would tend to blame the PFLAG spokeshuman (are you sure she's a woman and not one of those other genders?). The Houston Comical isn't any different than the rest of the MSM but this is typical of PFLAG.

As a side note, when you have the truth on your side you don't need misinformation.

Shalom.

The big problem that Null has is that her worldview depends on homosexuality being innate.

I was born a homocidal maniac with maniacal sadistic tendencies. I've been fighting it for years, leading a double life, pretending I am happy. I suppose I should just come out of the closet and demand society accept me the way I am.

Shalom.

God is truly awesome - thank you for sharing your story. Our church is considering our own ministry to homosexuals - we are currently gathering information from different organizations at this time.
