Just saw an interview on CNN about the search for the other 'participants' who agreed to this upcoming suicide on Valentines Day. Interviewed was a King County WA detective, so there may be ties to Washington as well. It was not clear from the interview segment I saw.
The article above says email, but the detective said it was a chat room group of some kind, they are looking for the other participants in the chat room (wish they would tell us what chat room) including the woman who said she would murder her children.

Gerald Krien, 26, faces charges of solicitation to commit murder, according to Klamath County sheriff's deputies.
That seems like a strange charge considering you were soliciting the solicitee to commit their own murder. And does the legal definition of murder fit a situation where you kill yourself?

The alleged pact was to take place Feb. 14 at Krien's home and involved one mother agreeing to murder her two children, said sheriff's Lt. Rod Dailey. This contradicts the interview on TV where they said the participants would participate via the internet, not at the guy's home.

Alleged Mass Suicide Pact Uncovered
|
Klamath Falls Man Arrested
|
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- A suicide pact involving 32 people from across the nation and Canada was alleged to occur in Klamath Falls on Valentine's Day. Klamath County sheriff's deputies uncovered numerous e-mails soliciting others to take part in a mass suicide. Deputies went to the Madison Street home of 26-year-old Gerald Krien Wednesday with search warrant in hand. Lt. Rod Dailey says the solicitation allegedly involved one mother agreeing to murder her two children as part of the suicide pact. Krien's computer was seized. He was arrested for solicitation to commit murder and is being held at the Klamath County Jail without bail.

I believe they just passed a assisted suicide law in Oregon or maybe it was Washington. I think they are going to prosecute because they didn't want to take euthanasia this far yet (killing your kids after they are born).
Thats for next year.

In order to protest the re-election of the Chimp President and to destroy the American imperialist economy, all Democrats are banding together to commit suicide in a national display of our intellect.
Join me in suicide, fellow leftists, on February 14.
