FReeper Henry Lee II has passed away

It is with deep sadness that I have to share the news of the passing of my dear friend and fellow FReeper, Henry Lee II. 

 

In late February, he FReepmailed several of us and told us he had been diagnosed with Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, a blood disease that is rarely fatal.  However, complications arose and he went to heavan March 1st. 

 

He leaves behind a young wife and two children, a daughter age 6 and a son age 3.

 

We will all remember him for his irreverent sense of humor, his love of posting to threads that he clearly hadn't read, and his love of his Washington Redskins.

 

Please remember him in your prayers and share your thoughts and memories on this thread.

Oh my. I'm very sorry to hear that. When my son was applying to colleges a couple of years ago, Henry Lee II very kindly answered some questions we had about the College of William and Mary, where he worked.
