Felosious (fee-losh-eyus)

History deserves to remember this man, Felos, and his contribution indefinitely. And what better way to manifest a person's infamy than to codify it in language in perpetuity.

So I am proposing to inaugurate a new word to be used from this day forth in common blogese until such time as it is added to Webster's as an official addition to the English language.

felosious (fee-losh-eyus) or felosian (fee-losh-eyan) adj.

Now we need a good definition. I have a few in mind, but I thought I'd leave it to our readers and the rest of the blogosphere to decide. So please, by all means submit your definitions and they will be posted accordingly until Dueler and I decide on the best comprehensive definition to establish. Add yours here…

felosian: 1) A bullsh*t artist. A con. 2) A person who is an idiot or a moron. Such as, "That guy has a felosian flaw to believe something that stupid."

I was thinking in terms of adjectives. But that's a good noun.

We'll list that one as felosite.

Oh great! So we get another whitewash from this corrupt county .. this is unreal. How on earth can we trust what this guy is going to say if he is afraid to even have another ME present to confirm what he finds or doesn't find ..??

I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

felosite (fee-los-ite) n. - dupe; idiot or moron.

Because he wouldn't walk away

By this time there was a court order that she be denied nourishment.

How was he going to get that court order reversed without incriminating himself in some way? Suddenly remember something?

That's probably why he couldn't take the money and run. He was already in too deep. There will be money for him either way.

And he had the American people behind him, don't forget. A few days ago anyway. The American public is known to be fickle though.

I agree, he was part of an endless news conference where he loved to hear himself speak.

I was waiting for him to say "Hail Satan"!

Catch this. Just heard on the news that in concession to Terri's parents, the now ex (thankfully) husband is going to ALLOW them to hold a funeral mass for Terri next week.

Excuse me, but what world is this? Since when does anyone tell the church it can or cannot hold a funeral mass?

I wonder if he will allow the pope to have a funeral mass.

That's a good point.

If Terri was employed at the time she was struck down - she could possibly have had an employee benefit of a life insurance policy - WHICH MOST EMPLOYERS PROVIDE TO FULL TIME EMPLOYEES - regardless of whether they work for an insurance company or not.

However, while she could have been put on disability .. after a certain period of time - the employee sponsored life insurance would have gone bye-bye.

However, if she worked for an insurance office - she could have had additional insurance .. you're correct that could be a possibility. But .. according to Felos - "there is no money".

I don't have any information about who she worked for.

the noted "right-to-die" attorney for her estranged husband spoke repeatedly of the severely brain-injured woman's "death process" by starvation and dehydration, describing it as "calm, peaceful and gentle."

Not to mention, "profitable".
Felos "earned" over $400,000.00 in attorney fees during these "legal" proceedings.

Despite saturation press coverage of the Terri Schiavo case, Felos's New Age spirituality has not emerged as an issue.

Wonder why! You know, Johnnie Cochran got OJ off and look what's happened.

Yea, he earned it. After all, how many people can be found who are savvy to the laws and are willing to take compensation for promoting the death of a human being?

I don't think there was such a court order - BEFORE the $1 mil was offered. If there was .. then I agree .. he was getting what he wanted - her death - so why bother.

Felos has already admitted that publishers and screen writers have been contacting them for years to do her story.

What saddens me is that her parents will now have to watch while the murderer of their child profits on her death. Sick!

Not true. Many employers continue to provide the life insurance after the individual goes out on disability. If they don't provide it the former employee can frequently continue it.
