Sorry to get back so late on the issues of zot. There are several types of trolls who get the zot. Here is an example of a "retread" troll. The moderators have some IP addresses they watch for "newbies" signing up. This one got the zot before having a chance to reply.

Other trolls sign up and post something from a very left leaning publication that attacks Republicans or any religious figure. There are others who sign up and reply to one thread with some off the wall comment as Patriotic Liberal did in reply #47 and the mods banned the poster. If you run and hold your mouse pointer over the poster's name, you will see the sign up date. If you left click on the name, you will see that Patriotic Liberal's account has been banned or suspended.

Is it too late to plant flowers here in SW Ok? We had a minor thunderstorm last night that lasted all of 30 minutes. Spring hasn't been very furious this year yet.

I was in the 6th grade when Kennedy was shot. It was announced over the PA system and we all went silent. It was a scary time for kids my age and a little younger. We thought Presidents were infallible and what was going to happen next? Would Cuba invade? Were the Russians going to nuke us? I wondered why it had to happen in the city I was born in. Was my cousin ok? Was he there when it happened? (He was Secret Service)....All thoughts this little kid had when it happened.

My parents let us watch all of the news coverage and we watched the funeral.
