Was the good doctor wearing his devil outfit or has he retired it?
But seriously, good job. What kind of reaction did you get from the passerbys on 57th St.?

I had the thought last night (listening to Drudge) that the time has come for a good old-fashioned "die-in" -- seventeen people dressed as Muslims gather in front of the Newsweek offices, then fall to the ground screaming (in front of the cameras of the rest of the media, of course).
Possibly even some civil disobedience in splashing the steps up to Newsweek's offices with fake (biodegradable, washable?) blood. (I didn't say that!)

I'm glad you reported on the attitude of the rank and file.
My local protest at the newspaper was a success because the average worker hated to be associated with the antiwar types. I guess you showed the same is true at NewsWeak.
Rank and file don't like to think their paycheck passed through bloody hands.
Great job.....

Use your right to free speech! Send an email to editors@newsweek.com
Tell the Newsweek scum what you think
I sent them an email... excerpt follows...
Newsweek magazine has sunk to new lows in the attacks on America by idiotic liberal media. Your false reporting on the Koran will create many more suicide bombers who will be attacking our soldiers in many locations, killing and
maiming many of them. There will be marines going to homes to tell relatives that their loves ones were killed in the Middle East.

You're absolutely right...
But it was also difficult to tell who was who... There are some other offices in the building. But you could usually tell who were the big-wigs at Newsweek because they would pretend not to look at the signs, even as they cringed. No one from Newsweek, even the lowest of the lowest, was willing to talk to us at all. Probably they all know their jobs are potentially on the line because of this.

Some follow up questions:
- Did you go to their Manhattan office?
- What was the reaction from them?
- Did you get any vets to show up?
- Did any local news people show up to report? Did you call them?
- Please post pictures if you have any.
Thanks!
