Governors of Arizona, Nevada and Oregon today praised California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's call to "close the borders," saying it would improve the security and living conditions of all citizens in their own states.
However, a spokesman for Gov. Schwarzenegger said he was speaking of the U.S. borders with Mexico and Canada, not California's borders with neighboring states.
"We're grateful for Arnold's unilateral move to protect us from incursion by Californians," the three governors said in a joint news release. "Our porous borders have posed a grave threat to our states for too many years. The ideological degradation spawned by this influx has devastated our own local cultures."
A spokesman for the local branch of the Minuteman Project said its patrols would continue to man border checkpoints looking for California license plates and "backpackers in Birkenstocks."

Funny enough if taken only as a joke, but I'm not sure all here are doing that. Seriously: If a Californian makes the difficult decision to leave his or her home for greener pastures, what is the list of states into which they are forbidden to move? Thus far, I count (from the comments only, not from the joke article) Washington and Nevada.
They probably were from somewhere else to begin with like New York.
The die-hard true-blue patriot Californians are staying put and fighting to restore the great state that gave the world Ronald Reagan.
One lady told me that the schools here had to drop dress codes because a family from California sued when the school said their kid's clothes were inappropriate. The Californians say they want to escape from California's problems but then they try to turn Utah into California.
Of course it seems like every other person I meet is from CA and they also want people to stop moving here.

Fact is, lots of Kalifornians foul their own nest by electing Democrats, and when they can't stand their own stench anymore they move to neighboring states where they again vote Democrat.
In this part of Pennsylvania (Bucks County) it's the New Yorkers who flock here to escape the taxes, crime, stench etc., but then screw us natives up by.... voting Democrat. Thanks a lot. I preferred it when they simply migrated to New Jersey, which is already a hopeless liberal toilet, but apparently even New Yorkers can't stand New Jersey anymore. Think about THAT for a minute. Whew.

There should be a two state solution. East and west. If you look at the red blue map for the election, there are two distinct ideologies. California isn’t purple.
Citizens from the central valley and east are disenfranchised in presidential election because the state is winner take all for electors. Obama didn’t campaign here but he did in Germany. Actually I would be okay with east California and Sacramento becoming part of Greece or France.
Unfortunately, the “two states” are actually far more scattershot. It is the multitude of parasite nests (”cities”) that elect thugs (Democrat politicians) to confiscate from their neighbors and hand the loot over to them in exchange for their votes. So a “two state solution” would involve creating one state comprised of the parasite nests and the other comprised of the rest of the country occupied mostly by normal, working, traditional American families.
