Mein Kampf bestseller in Turkey - Hitler's prison manifesto sells 50,000 copies

The infamous manifesto penned in prison during the 1920s by one of history’s greatest despots has become a bestseller in Turkey, a troubling sign of increasing anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism.

Since January, Mein Kampf has sold more than 50,000 copies, rising to No. 4 on the bestseller list. The book outlines Hitler's plans for world domination and his intense hatred of the Jewish people.

"A lot of people in the West don't realize this has always been a popular book among radical Muslims," says Steve Hagerman, founder of Turkish World Outreach. "They think it’s a tragedy Hitler didn’t win the war. This is symptomatic of growing anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism in the country."

Hagerman is concerned about a resurgence of conservative Islam in Turkey, which he believes is promoted and funded by Iran and Saudi Arabia.

"Turkey is a different place right now," Hagerman observes. "The military, the radical Muslims and the secularists are becoming more and more anti-American," he says. "Literalist Islam is teaching the Muslims to hate the Jews and to hate democracy. Their belief in Muslim eschatology is that the world is destined to be conquered by Islam."

Escape from Boston: Not aware of any John Carpenter directed "Escape from Boston," but the idea of such a film is intriquing.

I wonder what Hitler thought of Muslims?

You be the judge:

Arafat's Hitler-loving role model, Ken Timmerman profiles 'brilliant' anti-Semitic Arab leader

I've read the book, it's a good one. Timmerman also wrote the Jesse J. expose, "Shakedown."

"The infamous manifesto...has become a bestseller in Turkey, a troubling sign of increasing anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism."

How is this a sign of "increasing" anti-Semitism and how exactly does this translate to anti-Americanism? This is a WorldNetDaily leap of logic. I'm sure Turkey has had, for a good while, its entrenched class of hate-kooks. It probably reflects what is already there, not necessarily that MORE are being converted to Hitler's brand of evil.

Anyway, I'm not so much worried about Turkey. I'm really worried about an Islamicized Latin/South America. I expect this to be the Islamic high point of their war against the West and our southern border will be our Armageddon.

(IMO Europe's lost; non-Muslim Europeans don't have the resolve to have large families again in order to out-populate Europe's rising Muslim population.)

I bought a copy one time out of curiosity, couldn't get through the first three chapters. Didn't take long to figure out the guy was insane.

I bought a copy 25 years ago. I was living in Germany and I wanted to see how an entire nation could be seduced by a single person. After several attempts I decided it either wasn't Hilter's writings or something was very seriously lost in the translation. Either way it looks almost brand new except for a nice layer of library dust. ( a fancy way for saying I don't dust bookshelves well.)

I wonder what Hitler thought of Muslims?

He liked them well enough to let them into the SS. The Mufti was also welcome in Berlin during the war.

And Che Guevera too of course.

What in heavens name is wrong with the world to embrace and admire such fascist hate mongers, terrorists and killers?

Think about it, billions and billons of people have their knickers in a twist and blame all their problems and all their failures on over less than 13 million Jews. Wow, those darn Jews are pretty scary and powerful. It must be the gefilte fish or kreplach.

File it under "know thine enemy".

Hmmm - one of the founders of ACT-UP, Larry something or other, admitted that he and the other original members of the radical "gay" group read Mein Kampf for inspiration.

Hmmm.

PEACE IS NOT AN OPTION

Amin Al Husseini seen inspecting his Hanzar Division made up exclusively of Muslims, mostly from the Crotia/Bosnia/Serbia region. They actively lead the genocide against Serbs, Serbian Jews and Gypsies.

Amin Al Husseini meets with Adolf Hitler in November 1942, weeks before the decision to implement the Final Solution which sent Europe's Jews to the gas chamber. The Third Reich provided Amin Al Husseini with a salary and appointed him Head of the Hanzar SS Division. The Hanzar Division was made of Nazi Muslims and implemented the genocide of 250,000 Serbs, Gypsies and Jews during WWII.

He was on Hitler's payroll as he lead the Hanzar Division of Muslim SS and played a lead-role in determining the fate of Europe's Jewish community.. My Mom had Mein Kampf as her Book of the month club selection in 1939 or so.I so value these treasures from my Moms day, she would write notes on the fly leaf of her books. I remember her notes on the book being something like incoherent ramblings and racism and how she was disappointed that German intellectualism had fallen so low.
