I don't care if Hillary appears unbeatable. At least the Republicans will be fielding a candidate that will nip at Hillary's ample heels and smoke her out on many issues. Jeanine will be a much better candidate than Lazio. The GOP is lucky to get ANYONE to take on Old Crusty.

Jeanine will be amply funded and will cause the Hildabeest to dip into her presidential pot. Nor will Her Heinous be able to bob and weave on issue positions. She'll be facing a canny attorney/prosecutor.....and I can't wait to see a debate between the two, hah.

I look for Jeanine to violate Hillary's space, her face and her senate race.

Ms. Pirro in NY, and Ms. Harris in Florida.....whoo-hoo.

While I would like to see Pirro win, my take on 2006 is that Hillary is unbeatable in New York. She is actually quite _popular_ there (gag!). With an eye on the 2008 presidential contest, the libs and Democrats will pull out all the stops to get her re-elected

I think the fact that Hitlery will leave the people of NY to run for President in 2008 should be a very good point for Pirro to make while running against her. Maybe they will understand it is her best interests, not those of the citizens of New York Hitlery cares about the most.

Hillary will have to spend every last cent to keep this seat.

Pirro has one disadvantage.

The New York press will do everything they can to prop up Hillary and destroy Pirro.

On social issues. Pirro and Hillary are the same.

On crime and economic issues, Hillary has been a disaster.

Pirro is a D.A. She could crush Hillary in debates.

I thought 2006 was going to be another off year in N.Y. State.

I'm looking at Governor Elliot Spitzer, Attorney General Andrew Cuomo and Senator Hillary Clinton.

BLEHHH!!!

No I have a reason to fight.

WHERE CAN I GET MY PIRRO BUMPER STICKER?

Let the games begin.

Do a little research on her accomplishments as a prosecutor and district attorney before you make any more ill-informed comments.

It will also force PIAPS to stay at home and not be on the road for other RATS in 2006 Senate races.

You GO, girlfriend! hillary has met her in-your-face match with Jeanine Piro. She is not going to be able to get away with the passive/aggressive bs she's so known for. I look forward to this steel cage death match.

Excellent point!

I'm going to send money into her campaign, and suggest FReepers do the same, even if it's only $5 :)

I've been watching and listening to this LADY on Fox, and if anyone has what it takes to beat the beast, she does.

She can make Hillary look like "NOT the smartest knife in the drawer"..

Mindbender26. He posted the thread, fine.

What I'm saying is the long paeanic that thread became gives a lot of insight into how easily captured minds and hearts are by the faux MSM. Not that Jennings, himself, was faux -- but he is not what people knew. They knew him only as he was staged -- expensively presented -- each night. That presentation was faux, in that it obviously did exactly what it meant to do. Created a strong sense in many that Jennings was a beloved family member, a worthy and esteemed visitor in their homes.

An example of the Cult of the Marketed Personality -- which clearly includes Freepers.

"Free yourselves!", says I to all fellows, ladies and Freepers.

Does she, or does she not, aid, abet, condone, and encourage the mass slaughter of unborn children?

That's not someone who shares my views on crime.

Pirro has to ask one question. "If elected I will serve the entire six year term because New Yorkers deserve a Senator that will be there when they need her. Will you pledge today Mrs. Clinton to do the same thing if elected?"

Excellent. You should be Pirro's campaign manager.

Oh, I agree. Pirro is a sharp cookie and just the fact that she's a woman and an attractive one at that will point out all of Hil's many flaws.

My oldest and very best friend is a NY liberal who despises Hillary and will be thrilled to have Pirro in the race. As she says "anyone one but Hillary". Her equally liberal husband agrees.

I'm really looking forward to this race.

Which of his five families should I pity?

Five families? I hadn't heard this tidbit. Could you please elaborate or share a link?

Doesn't Pirro have an ugly divorce or two in her background and won't her marital history be a big negative in a race against happily married Hillary, who will highlight her strong ties to America's Greatest Living Ex-President?

So you want a Hillary clone as top Republican in the state?

You're right, but consider this: The Republican Party in New York hasn't had a successful candidate for statewide office in several generations who has been to the right of Karl Marx. New York is a socialist sh!t-hole, which is why Hillary came here in the first place -- the Democrat Party determined in 2000 that it was the only state in the U.S. with an open Senate seat where she had any chance of winning.
